Good Morning World! Welcome to our home! Yesterday

AMPS 164
I suspected Sir KT would drop last night, sure enough, there it is. I gave him fresh food at pm+9 and went btb - he didn't eat any of it thus kept coming down. When I got up at pm+10.5, he handed me a 118. He was hollering for food but I wanted to see what the +11 was before I fed him. That AMPS has does already have lc in it but I could see the cycle action. He's feeling fine, looking good and hunting HEAT! Yesterday morning it was 74 degrees, this morning it's 45! BRRRRR! I did turn on room heaters before I went to bed last night...except mine... I got COLD about 4am - found MY heater button fast! Within 15 minutes, we had a room full of kitties curled up near it too.
I just have to share another WONDERFUL thing that happened yesterday. We've got all the carport frame up, rafters and carriers up but hadn't gotten the actual metal roofing...it's the really expensive part. We priced it at all places here - all worked out to about $450 for the amount we need. There's one place here that's actually a national company - they're usually more expensive than anyone else BUT they do have really good materials with a great warranty. DH decided to call them yesterday and just see what price they gave us...expecting about $75-$100 more than anyone else. GUESS WHAT!! They have OUR COLOR on CLEARANCE at HALF PRICE!!! We can get the complete roofing with BETTER materials and longer warranty for $220!!! The only thing not included in that price is one piece of edge trim and a bag of screws. This is such a HUGE blessing!!! We didn't expect to lose my little brother, didn't expect to get his '71 Torino and didn't expect to have to build a safe place to keep it this year - all this expense has completely blown any 'budget' out the window. This roofing gift calls for a HUGE Yard Dance!!! .....but it's a bit cold..... :?
Thoughts and prayers for all needing them today. BIG Hug for all that visit!!! We SO appreciate the visits each day.
