Well, here we are day 14!! :nailbiting::D Threw in an extra test this morning just to make sure he's doing well. I'm so excited! One more test! And so full of gratitude to all of you. Still trying to get his diet right to be most beneficial for his BG and weight loss but I feel like the automatic feeder I just got is going to be so helpful. I find on the days I can give him a small snack between meals his bg is lower so I'm hopeful that the feeder will help keep him in remission for good! His weight is headed back down and he looks and seems to feel so healthy!! Thank you a million times to each and every one of you!! :cat:

Did you see that we are already having a par-tay for you today?? I didn't know that they hold parties on the Day 14 until Rex had his party. :D

That's awesome you see benefits from giving snacks - now you know the auto feeder is a good investment.

FWIW I still test daily, just in the mornings, when George went into remission I continued testing twice daily for a good few months, before I felt confident enough to move to daily testing, I will continue to test daily (though I don't stress if I miss the odd day), my view is that if he comes of the wagon the sooner I know the better.
 
oh wow!!! I didn't realize his purrty had already started!!! I am so overwhelmed by the support the here!! You are all such wonderful people and kitties. I just watched Fluffles OTJ party video and I just love it!! Thank you so much @Camille and Cyclone!!! This message board is amazing! Thinking back on how scared and overwhelmed I felt at diagnosis compared to the happiness that I feel today! Fluffles is so excited about his party!! Thank you all for taking this ride with us and celebrating with us today!!!:otj::D:otj::D
