She's done it again!! Raced down from a high in record time!

Had to take Mom and 2 other ladies from the Assisted Living center out to breakfast this morning, so grabbed a quick +2 before heading out the door. Saw that she'd dropped from 178 to 110 in 2 hours and knew what that meant...China was going to have an active cycle! Tried not to "rush" anyone but in the back of my mind, I was wondering what was going on at home.

Luckily, everyone was happy after breakfast and Mom told me I didn't need to come in and "entertain", so off I went, and the "walking in the door" number was 47

I wonder...She's pretty predictable using that +2 test (and if a big difference, pay attention!!!)..Maybe if I see that fast dropping number, instead of waiting for her to actually drop too low, maybe give her a higher carb food at +2?

Might be worth a try I guess!

Hope everyone is having a nice Caturday...It's beautiful here, cool, crisp and bright blue skies with just a few fluffy white clouds..and the trees are starting to get some really good color and they're just awesome in the morning sun!

wow good timing!!

I started giving Crushy a little higher low carb food at +2 when starts making nose dives like that. It seems to help a little....

hope she surfs some good #s and enjoy that weather!! sounds nice

Yeah, China is a real stinker when it comes to this dance, but luckily, I've got a real good "6th sense" and when it tells me to test, I do...and so far, it's always been right and she's been really low

Today I didn't need to use it though...since her +2 was a pretty significant drop from her AMPS, I had a pretty good idea that she'd be dropping a little low today. That test has become a really valuable tool for me to get SOME kind of idea what the cycle is going to be like, but then (of course) China has to throw a screw in the works some days. She seems to like to keep me guessing.....LOL

She's currently laying on my leg and purring to beat the band, so all's well in her world...and there's not too many things I like more than a purring and content kitty :-D

Nice catch on that 47! :-D Hope you at least tried to enjoy yourself at breakfast. Lets hope she doesnt bounce like a super ball later.... :lol:
