Yuck! Really high today, but for some reason it took 3 pokes to get a good blood sample, so that probably stressed him out a bit and increased his numbers some. I'll get a couple mid-cycle tests.
 
what gauge are your lancets? 31's are very thin and frequently don't give a good blood sample. You can get 26 or 28 which create a bigger hole and more blood. Just be sure to apply pressure afterward to prevent any bruising.

Mine are 28, and I use the freestlyle clear top lancet pen, and the freestyle lancets.

I originally used 29 gauge, them switched to 33 about 2 weeks ago. I've been getting enough blood until today....BUT they seemed to bruise his ears worse because they more frequently poked all the way thru his ear I guess because I had to set the depth deeper to get the blood sample. So I switched back to the 29s this evening.
 
i'm so sorry claudia that his numbers are not coming down..i say this without really looking over your ss.
a high dose kitty on the slow train to regulation.
you will get there.
