? 10/25 TiTi. Reduce Dose to 7.5. 160AMPS. High AM&PM to drops of 100. Why?

It looks like Titi onsets somewhere around +3. Some kitties will do a steep drop at time of onset. Nice to see it more gradual today.

The larger 8 unit dose can influence around 6 cycles after a reduction. You may still see lower numbers from the 8 unit depot over the next couple of cycles. Or not. :cat:

But that would make her BG lower, no? I am seeing higher than usual numbers after AMPS. And yes, it's nice to see a more gradual transition, but last night at 3.5 after PMPS, her BG was 86. That makes her AMPS BG of 160 huge jump upward. It looks like another possible failure.

I find this particularly confusing, since she spent a happy month of greens and blues at the dose, 7.5U

Or she dropped a little lower and it's a mini bounce, or in fact that steep drop last night @+3 may triggered a little bounce. With her latest number looks like she is recovering from that high amps.

I think I'm over-reacting. Can't tell anything much about how successful a reduction will be after 1 lousy cycle!:rolleyes:
 
Looking at the big picture, TiTi is doing great. I'd focus on that - one can go a bit crazy trying to figure out the reasons for one cycle or another cycle. I always fall back on the "absorption can vary by as much as 50% from one shot to the next" comment whenever you get a cycle that is just a bit weird.

I didn't know that! Good grief - quite a large variation.

I second the recommendation to look at the whole cat, the big picture. Remember that there are no real definitives in FD, mainly because of the F factor! ;)

As to the whole cat, she's quite robust and perky, and *****y to my other cats. One exception is Mikey - she loves Mikey and curls up with him. I call Mikey my Ghandi cat, because everyone loves him. Well, Bratinski is the exception - Mikey is quite wary of Bratinski, who is definitely a loose cannon.
