peanut had a bit of vomiting this morning.. got 1/2 dose. .. just monitoring.. he doing ok.

also the vet went really well. his pressure is great again, 140s-150s.. (!!) maybe a bit lower in actuality cuz that was at the vet (nerves).. and i liked them! they were really nice.. just talked about everything.. he looking ok. i brought records. knew mostly conventional info on bg haha.. but yknow. and his weight is good! really glad have responded..

and just right across the street.. there in no time at all. i can also BE w him during them. which is excellent for his pressure tests. i know this helps a lot. very happy. good to have someone close by. called his specialist cuz on days like this where theres tummy things (like he only got 1x tab today.. afraid to give whole dose w his stomach.. now think he may not be feeling best, but we need him to eat.. sigh), im contemplating the transdermal.. know its wonky, but bypasses the gi tract which wont affect his appetite and he can always get it since you just rub it in.. idk.

I never decreased Max’s amlodipine based upon how he was. Have you asked the vet about that. Looks like 4.25 is needed when you are ready.

tried giving him two but all i could get in was 1.. i was afraid to jostle his stomach too much but i really think him getting his pressure meds is just as important (if maybe not more ) so we’ll be continuing for sure.. his specialist office said its hard to get consistent dose w the topical.. will ask his vet too when i get chance.. we gonna keep doing our best. .. keep tablets, and just take each day at a time. ..
