I’m not sure which day we taking about but I think cells are fixed now …in my sleep deprived state with bleeding and split thumbs (from all the hand washing) I hit something and some of my doses and the blue color from that column ended up scattered through the spreadsheet. I had to finally give up and “undo” a few dozen times then the enter stuff. It’s been a mess: if I shoot low numbers with a full dose he goes high and stays there. Whether I try to feed him enough to stay higher or not. If I lower the dose he goes high and stays there. If the PS is high he can drop below 100 no matter the dose.
To add to this I just got an internal medicine consult back on him (virtual between IM and my vet)—he wants us to increase the vetoryl, stay on the sprianolactone and K, and said the wonky BG was probably a combination of kidney disease (personally I’m not as convinced as my vets that he has kidney disease although I concede the US looks bad) and unpredictable release of cortisol and aldosterone (or some other mineralcorticoid) out of the tumor. So I’m back to 3, with a goal of aiming toward 2.75 as I increase his vetoryl. When he was initially started on Vetoryl and soiranolactone he wasn’t diabetic so I didn’t have to worry about hypoglycemia. But…it is what it is and hopefully he survives the adjustments coming this week and when the dust settles 2.75 will be his number. Looking back he was doing pretty good on the 2.5 (and his nadir was where it belionged instead of the following PS or later) so hopefully the higher vetoryl dose fixes things. But it’s always a leap of faith when I up his dose; and the extra capsule means at least 1/2 more pill pocket twice a day so more carbs
edit: my vet thinks 3 and is not convinced he will do well on 2.75 and she’s never wrong so far. But said we could consider that. She doesn’t like his erratic numbers at 3.5
