Houston - we have lift-off! what a bounce this morning - 341 at amps. Although after a day like yesterday I can deal with one bounce. He will clear this soon enough - paws crossed. For me, yesterday was a letter perfect day - it is what Mannie has worked so hard for all these months: nice low blue ps numbers, filled with mid-range greens throughout the rest of the cycles. What a glorious day. Mannie I am so happy for you! cat_pet_icon

I have to admit though - this bean is tired.... and I hope for just a nice mellow cycle. Mannie - this does not mean that it is ok to stay on the pink floor. :roll:

Mannie is tired too.... It got to the last of the pokes/tests/smiles last night and I could not find him for testing. Seems he had gone to bed - my bead. He was so done, and just wanted my person down and out. :lol: :lol: Funny - I'd pick him up, whisper "one more" in his ear - his response was one big sigh. :YMSIGH: Poor guy! He's in good spirits this morning - he has his routine and rarely deviates from it: my getting ready has been scrutinized and approved (phew!), the interior has been secured, breffis #1 and #2 down the hatch (though he missed the auto feeder this AM: bummer on that), and napping on his nanner stash is in progress. The weather here is downright ugly and frightful - no doubt this will be a day of napping and making up for the loss of such napping yesterday. Rest up there Mannie - you deserve it!

Have a great Monday everyone! I have a window dude due here this AM - going to see if the coffers will support new windows in the basement: thermal double pane nice windows. the currents are old (!!!!), and horribly energy insufficient - plus just ugly...

At least you have an explanation for the pink. I think there was a memo that went out to the kitties this morning about the liberal use of pink and the beans weren't informed.

HI Sienne - could be on the memo - there was that piece of paper in Mannie's bed that he promptly shredded when I asked about it. Paper was colored this odd shade, looked very close to pink. :lol:

Hi Barb - a blurry fog at 4:30 Am when that darn alarm went off... coffee pot didn't start up when it was supposed too :shock: the horrors! so yeah, spent a few sleepwalking..... :lol: :lol: :lol: I am hoping for a walk in a few, once the window guy has been here and done his thing.

At least the bounce is from some wonderful numbers yesterday. Blackie is right there with Mannie this morning, +2 331. I hope they both come down today. No dawdling on the pink floor.

Its miserably wet here too, Michelle. I wish I could have stayed home and cuddled with kitties and a book.

Good morning..quick check in on Mannie...he did have an amazing day yesterday and you did such a fantastic job steering him!! Hope he will come into nice blues for you today and you can rest...and deal with window dudes!!

wow, what a beautiful run of numbers for Mannie yesterday, Michelle! I'm sure you were ecstatic to see them yourself. Poor Mannie's ears, tho! At least he is coming down slowing from that bounce. I hope he clears it soon.

Hi Kristen - thanks! after yesterday's all day marathon it was nice to give it a rest for a bit today. what a zombie I was this morning. I think Mannie was more than glad he had the day off too. :lol: :lol: He slept through most of it - can't say that I blame him.

Hi Deb - I know on the ears. my poor baby! And he was so good about it too. only one protest around 11PM last night. What was so fun was when he was MIA for the last couple of tests - I found him on my pillow on my bed. The message was clear: we are so done, get your butt in bed, and put away the pokey thingies, I am just fine... guess so!

Gracie!!! I am trying - will 253 do? The bug hunt was fun wasn't it. Lanky is very good at it too! I wonder what we should do tomorrow? ~~ Mannie

Yup, you should definitely step away from that meter, Michelle!!!!!!! (Mannie thinks so too--all those nice, safe yellows today!!). Snow in your mountains and no more alpine hikes until next summer? Oh, that's too bad, but you did get in a lot of nice ones. We canoed all day today in light rain, but it was beautiful on the water. Our paddle was on the Racquette River (flows north into the St. Lawrence) and the water was high and the grasses were lovely yellows and tans; and there was the wonderful smell of balsam fir everywhere.
Hope you guys have a restful night tonight to go along with your yellow day. Also hope that your weather improves!

Hey Mannie, how was the bug hunting today? Sounds like fun!

Hi Miss Ella! The bug hunting was FUN! I've never been to Lanky's before. It was so pretty there! And sunny, and warm. It is cold at home now, and I am glad my fur is sooooooooo long and fluffy. My bean got me this nice fleece bed, and it keeps my toes warm. silly bean put tile on the kitchen floor, and it is so cold - my paws go numb. I hope someday to come and ride in your canoe with you. HI Ella! OK - I shall STEP AWAY FROM THE METER!!! :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: after last night and yesterday - damn straight! :lol: Mannie has had enough too - he is one tired kitty today. I can't think of a solid hour yesterday where he could nap. poor guy! and yes - first snow of the winter started falling last night. so winter is on its way here. I could go and hike there, but I'm just not a snow hiker - mainly because you just can't see what is under your feet - no desire to be a statistic because I couldn't seen that drop under the snow bank.... I have no complaints - been on alot this spring and summer, alot of them were very excellent. :-D very nice paddle for you today. wow - i can see it in my mind's eye. what a lovely picture. it is nice to hear that you don't let the weather stop you. me neither, i will hike rain sleet snow, as long as i can see what's under my feet. Hi Marjorie! Nice to have the DH take over, isn't it. mine can't test, but he can feed -- so I'll just treat the rest of the evening as I would if he were still in the mid greens. Hopefully it won't be overkill - :roll:
 
Mannie must've gotten some rest today, too bad you didn't. :lol: Well, at least it's not TOO early in the cycle. Maybe he'll repeat in the am.
