We'll see what he does now. I think he was trying but just couldn't hold the reduction. No matter how much better he's been, still have to remember he is Lucian.

Looks better today. I really think he's 'sputtering' and did good for a few days, then started the small spikes (as opposed to his BIG spikes) getting more often. I believe it will just take him longer to hold his reductions and maybe have to try each one a few times before it does.

He's a Lucian and that's what Lucians do! :lol:
 
OhEmGee! Just found out that BJ Thomas is coming 11/9 and my son is taking me! None of you are probably old enough to remember him, but he did a song called Rock and Roll Lullabye in 1972, that got me through a couple tough years when my son was a baby. I cry now whenever I hear it, great way to spend a concert huh? I am so excited! I won't get to sleep anytime soon.

Not only do I know who he is I know the song!!! Remember where I live there is two kinds of music...COUNTRY and WESTERN.. :lol: Plus I'm married to a cover band Bass Player, my uncle was a big band drummer and my mom was a USO dancer. I probably have at least heard everything from The Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy of Company B to Living Dead Girl...lol.

Congrats what a GREAT way to spend an evening with your son!!! You deserve a reason to shave your legs ;-)

Girl, most don't know my background and I'm too old to give a sh*t now. But in 74, I was 16, pregnant and alone and that song got me thru it. The fact that my son is taking me means as much as hearing BJ sing. He is very familiar with the song and what it means to me. I called and told him about the show and wondered if he'd go, he said who? Then I told him that it was the singer of THAT song and he said absolutely! I am so tickled! I saw him in 73, the only time. Been looking at his latest Utube videos and the man does an amazing job, even at 70+!!! I'm dumbstruck. You can tell, if you're familiar, that his voice isn't what it was 40 yrs ago, but damn who's is? I sang background vocals in a bar band at the same time and can't sing a note now. :o He just released a new CD, should be for sale at the concert, they always are, if not, I can get it online. I'd rather have one autographed.............

Shave? what's That? :lol: Since the weather cooled down, I haven't even hit em the the electric razor, much less shaved! Besides, I was thinking more of tight jeans and boots......not climbing in bed with anybody, the legs won't matter. :lol:

I am going to do everything possible to get a pic with him, for my b-day! 3 weeks is close enough to b-day! :-D Maybe while autographing a cd? ;-)
 
Check and see if he is doing a Meet & Greet either before or after the show there is usually photo ops at those. That was how I got mine with Charlie Daniels when DH took me to see him at the State Fair year before last.

Know THOSE kinda songs well for me it was Black Velvet.

Allanah Miles...... I still have the cassette and cd, love it!

I'll get Lucian's numbers on here at some point tonight. :lol:
