YUCK! Look at my big pink toad squattin WAY too high up there - I have absolutely NO IDEA why he's this high this morning. As far a I know, he didn't get into kibble, he got a small spoon of hc mixed with his lc at shot time last night but that should have been LONG gone. He wasn't eating so had to resort to that to get food into him. None of ours are eating very well right now - wait, only Sir Ziggy....he's getting LOTS of 'scraps'. 'Scraps' are everyone else's foods that they just leave on their plates and walk away - I put it in Ziggy's plate after a couple of hours.
DH started his attacks early this morning - it's been one right after another, I've already given him his full potassium dose he can take for another 4 hours. This is NOT going to be a fun day....I'll stay tied to his side all day and won't get ANYTHING done. Oh well - the Good Lord sent me this to learn too so I'll quit complaining...not many people know how to treat this illness INCLUDING our doctors. No one seems to understand this will be a growing issue as more is discovered about it - many people diagnosed with other things actually have HKPP. If a doctor wants to become well known worldwide, they need to start studying and treating this!!! People with this travel all over the world for treatment because there are so few specialists. Hardheads.....
