WOW Khan's numbers are coming down! yipeee.. nice and slow is the way to go!! I am beginning to feel less scared about the hypo.. but still BG testing regularly.

Peeing-- good
Poop: STINKY and soft
Ran down the hall this morning away from Quintin (my 3 yr old) so this is a good sign!
He cleaned himself last night and this morning, purred next to me this morning
Ate: 1 cann Fancy Feast and went for another can (that was another cat's)..
He has been coming out into the living room more often.. actually stretching out under the coffee table.. this is a great sign!

You might just need a space in yours....good that you got that in though! Put a space before you paste the link in..okay?

Remember that with your meter and testing you will be able to deal with the lower numbers. It is so good to be able to see where their BG is at any time... And you have HC gravy food on hand and karo...and you can bring the numbers up with those foods. Doing good! :razz:

How about getting a test in at around +2 or +3? The early tests will often give you a feel for how the cycle is going to play out.

Great WCR (whole cat report). It sounds like Khan is feeling good.

More than likely I can not get a 2-3pm number since I'm at work plus I'm dealing with Briquette (grandma's) hyperthyroidism/high liver numbers- currently waiting for vet to email me or call.

I believe sub Q fluids are in order for Briquette but not dire need since I was able to get her to eat and she was running around outside this morning. I'd still feel better if I were able to collect a urine sample and get her hydrated. I plan on calling the Vet pretty soon here to request his opinion on whether or not I should bring in Briquette and have him show me sub Q fluids or at least give her some then show me (I did read the catinfo.org info on this). I would have to leave for lunch -run her in -then home then back to work..uggg.. I work until 5pm.

Knowing all of this and Khan's numbers --should I be worried his BG is going to drop low today?

so glad to see khans numbers are coming down .. this low yellow is a great way place to start the day ... hopefully you see some blues and greens later on .. have a great day guys!
 
Khan started purring as I began to massage his head and ears- this is what I do to get the blood flowing..I go up his neck and down towards his ears on both sides of his face. he is usually siting between my legs with me squating above him.. he was REALLY happy... nice to see that!

I'm pretty sure that what Sienne meant was that if you can get a test 2 or 3 hours after the shot (+2 or +3) it will give you an idea if Khan is going to drop into lower numbers that cycle. If you see a number lower than the PS at +2 or +3, it often is a clue that there are lower numbers coming later.

I hope Briquette is doing ok! Nice that Khan is enjoying the attention. :smile:
