Every day? What does the vomit look like?

From https://vcahospitals.com/know-your-pet/famotidine

" It should be given on an empty stomach before the first meal of the day. If your pet vomits when given the medication without food, try giving it with food or a treat."

Yes, I'm supposed to give it every day. The vomit is a small amount - usually watery and brown like the pill pocket, and I can still see pieces of the pill in the little puddle.

I did not give it this morning since I wasn't going to be home to see if there was anything wrong. I will try it tomorrow morning before her meal and see if that helps any.

Is there a reason why you aren't giving her Cerenia? That's best for vomiting. I order it from Chewy and Chewy contacts the vet for the prescription.

I wasn’t given clear instructions on when or how often to give it. I’ve mostly used it reactively when she hasn’t been eating. But she’s been eating pretty well so I haven’t brought it out.

I give it as needed to Ruby not for inappetence but for vomiting. I do a combo Cerenia/ondansetron cocktail when she is nauseous and not eating. Cerenia is ok to give once every 24 hours or every 48 if you want to be cautious about it.
