10/25 Boris +12 95 +13 145 and dosed 0.1 and so on we go

I swear Boris is just trying to test my nerves, self confidence, my guts, whatever....

AMPS = 95

on 0.1 unit last nite he dropped his PMPS from 178 to a +4 of 116 (1am) Had to go to sleep so DH fed him 1/4 can FF. And he's still 95 this AM. I think I'm going to add another name to his Boris - something like Little $#!t. So here I go again - brings that song to my mind....."should I stay or should I go now...." hmmm who sings that??? Should I shoot or should I wait now......

I decided to wait 1 more hour and test today... that's my big decision! woohoo...hmm unless any of you have a better one!

And I love humor Celi - oftentimes it can be quite sick humor... :twisted: :mrgreen: - I agree it what gets me thru some of the worst times eventually...

It sure looks like food brings down Boris' numbers. Maybe someone's pancreas got jump started! I'll be curious to see what his numbers are like after a delay.

Hi Patti,

I know Boris is on pred, but Jojo always said cats couldn't have a hypo on .1u.
Also you shot him with .1u on a 90 yesterday.

Any timeframe on using the pred (sorry biut out of the loop having a very needy baby!) :mrgreen:

Thanks Kate and Sienne for stopping by. Actually Kate - that was another decrease again yesterday AM from 0.25. And I wasn't sure I should really decrease but Boris has given me quite abit of excitement (hypo'ed and seized on 0.5 u when he'd been rock stable for days and days!) We decreased to 0.25 and altho he never really gave us an "official 40-50 to show that it was time to decrease - he did get low enough at nite we offered him food so we could get some sleep. So I made kind of a gut decision to made that decrease to go to 0.1u. Then when I got another 95 already on just that 0.1u after only 2 doses of that - I couldn't believe he already was double digits on that tiny dose. And Miss calm, cool and collect here in the land of hi dose kitties is NERVOUS, SCARED, and HOVERING here in land of tiny doses on her diabetic cat. I feel totally out of my element! nailbite_smile :?

So here's what went on:
+12 = 95
+13 became our AMPS = 145...0.1units - also it's 1 hour after he ate
+2 = 164
and I'll continue to watch all day

gee there's a surprise!!! :lol: haha_smiley

Wow, Patti...a bit of a roller coaster for you two but it's good you waited, retested, and got a nice number that you could shoot at. Great job!!
