Well, that was quite the "welcome back" present Vesta gave us last night! Ooof. Thanks for the suggestion, Sienne- I will stay up another hour or so next time that happens. I read the "until your cat tests in the 50 mg/dL (2.8 mmol/L) or above range for 2 consecutive tests" line of that sticky last night, but must have skipped over the important "DO NOT become complacent. If number have risen after one or two tests, it’s important to continue testing." I felt pretty safe with the 73 at +6, and honestly? It was 1am west coast time, and we just got back from 9 days on the east coast. I let my tired win last night.
So despite a VERY disappointing amps, we stuck with the dosecrease to 0.25 this morning. My guess is she's bouncing from either the low #s last night or the MC I gave her. I *may* have given her too much (read: I should never have given her 1/3 can) and we're paying the price this morning. Ahhh, well, we'll see how she does with the decrease once that clears.
Dose that plan sound ok?
