I don't know why he isn't responding to the increases. He was doing so great a few weeks ago. It seems like his levels are so flat, there's no big curve. I don't know what is going on with this kitty.

Did you get any tests last night? If you could please update the SS...if you're following TR, which it says so in your signature - you can increase after 6 cycles. Try not to worry about worked a few days ago...that's what makes this so interesting...this sugar dance...a dose that worked at one time, may not work at another...

As Sue mentioned, the same dose may not work the same at a different time until we hit the RIGHT DOSE! That's what you have to find!
Keep testing and update your SS and don't worry, things will get better as you go!

I don't see any night time tests since you increased to 1 unit. If you can get a before going to bed test that will help you figure out what is going on with his numbers.

How is tinker in himself? Are his teeth OK?

It is possible that he is getting better numbers at night.....we just don't know, so do start getting those before bed test to fill in the picture, without those I cannot in all honesty recommend you take the dose up. Though he possibly does need some insulin.
Do you think you could grab pm tests tonight and tomorrow, then if you are not seeing anything in green, I would take him up. I hate to wait, but also I am nervous of taking the dose up without having the data to support it.

Tink seems fine, I think his teeth are OK. He was at the vet recently and I think he could use a cleaning but his teeth aren't terrible.

I will try and get more PM tests. It just seems like his BG never really budges between PM shot and +2 or +3 so I hate poking him.

TR or SLGS, you should always get a before bed test at night. Many cats go lower at night. Did you see Yoshi’s post from yesterday? His spreadsheet had nothing below yellow, until last night. A steep drop at before bed triggered a later test and surprise! Reduction earned. I wish I could say that was unusual, but it’s not.

No worries about that! I did 'the chicken version of TR' for a long time! But I also agree with the above posters, until you can get some PM tests I'd sure hold off on changing the dose. Tinker may very well be having moonlight swims...and without those PM tests you just can't know. If you care to take a look, see Luci's SS yesterday morning. She sure pulled a fast one on me! One minute she's in the yellows and the next - GREEN! She almost slipped by me ... oh well...Today and tonight is another day/night. Let's fill in those blanks on your SS - and we can see...
