Hi Everyone,
I guess that flat blue yesterday meant green today. Rusty had a good morning. I started his "lung treat" again today, after an absence of several months (he grew tired of it). This is a capsule of Standard Process Allerplex mixed into a teaspoon of Beechnut Stage 1 chicken or turkey babyfood. He accepted it today, but not with the enthusiasm of before. I wanted to start it again because I think it does help his chronic congestion. It has ingredients that loosen congestion. So we'll see if he will eat it again tomorrow.
Rusty was up on the dining room table today and rediscovered his "welcome basket" that Linda/BearMan and Ronnie/Luna gave him when they drove a lap of the DCIN relay to get him to his new home with us in Nov. 2010. This is a small basket suitable for toys, but Rusty insisted on trying to squeeze himself into it. I wish I had had my camera!
After ignoring his breakfast this morning, he ate it at lunchtime and then ate more. I opened a new can of FF T&G dated Sept. 2016 and he really dug in. He hasn't much cared for the cans dated June, July, and August. I wonder what has changed? The labels are the same.
It's still cold and damp, but seems for the moment to have stopped raining.
Wishing all a good day and a good start to the weekend,
Ella & Rusty
