Good Morning, Everyone,
Rusty seems to be coming down gradually from the vetty stress yesterday. He was tired last night. After he finished playing with his bell balls at midnight, he fell asleep on the couch. Edward had to go downstairs to get him and encourage him to come upstairs. So he spent his night, as always, sleeping between his beans. This morning we had a good test and shot. Breakfast (Wellness turkey) has been eaten in part (he was eating his nighttime food when we got up this morning), and our kitty is asleep in his little bed by the radiator. I suspect that today will be a day of recuperation for him. Rusty and Edward will be home alone until around +9 or so. I'm going to climb St. Regis Mt., a beautiful, medium-size mountain near Paul Smiths, with some of our group. The boys will have some good outdoor time later, after it warms up (it's 31 degrees right now).
Thanks again to everyone for your support yesterday. I hope that this flare of pancreatitis will not last too long and that Rusty will be able to get back to more representative numbers. I'm sure he'll feel better now that his anal glands have been expressed. That must have been bothering him. I'm chagrined that I didn't know what his "scooting" was indicative of.
Wishing you all a fine day,
Ella & Rusty
