Happy Wednesday!
Hi all. Racci is running higher numbers again since I started the new case of food! This is a new month that I hadn't tried yet, EXp. 9/2014 and it's not as loose and watery as August but almost!
I called Merrick and was told there wasn't a change in formula however their moisture content does vary. I told her they don't usually vary that much. I've been using it at least a year and never had this much gravy in it. I explained that the extra gravy is full of extra carbs or something else that is making her bg go up. She said she had had complaints about the consistency of the food sometimes but never of it making cats hypoglycemic. I told her that didn't surprise me because unless the cat was diabetic no one will be testing the cat's blood glucose. She laughed and said that was true so she is investigating the lot #'s I gave her with the science dept and will get back to me soon I hope.
Other than the higher #s, Racci is feeling good. In fact, I would swear the Adequan is already helping her except that she's still walking badly and I know she shouldn't. She's happy though and playful & ate well all nigh and morning.
Another beautiful day today but they're saying it's probably the last one this year so I'm hoping to finally get outside to enjoy it.
Hugs to all the lantus land kitties & beans and best wishes for recovery for all the sici or injured cats.
