Good Morning World! Welcome to our home! Yesterday

AMPS 120
KT didn't eat much last night thus handed me a 55 at wake up time! That AMPS has food in it but I could also tell he was going to EAT, got a 120 at AMPS so shot his usual full dose. I'll bet we're going to dance well today!! We're gonna wear GREEN! A REAL Green - not one caused by non-digesting food!!! Poop was good, all other P's in place but no 7th one of peeing in my shoe!!! Today he's a bit silly - my shoes are standing on their toes. Silly PooKitty!
DAKOTA
AMPS 296
Today I don't even mind that ugly AMPS sweet Dakota has! We're still trying to be sure we don't overshoot with this new insulin pen so just now climbing back up to that 4u dose....not quite there but only .25u's short today. I have to share the neatest result of our vet trip yesterday. When we got in the truck, started heading to vet, Dakota started getting really upset, meowing quietly, round and round in the carrier, scratching trying to bury himself under the mat. I kept telling him it would be OK, he was coming back HOME when we were thru, there would be NO MORE shuffling around, no more of those hated adoption fairs. He kept it up most of the 25 minutes of the drive. They took him in the back to do urinalysis, when they brought him back he hid under my arm - all 17 pounds of him. Then we were done, back in carrier and back in truck but THIS time, there's none of that hollering, twisting, turning. He was very quiet. THEN we arrived back 'HOME'! We unzipped the carrier, let him out, I swear he was doing a happy dance - he was still 'HOME'! He's been a more content, happier cat since then....I think "the other shoe finally fell...." and didn't hit him! It just thrills my heart - that last little doubt in his eyes is GONE!
NEIGHBORHOOD STAMPEDE!!! One neighbor with 6 big outside dogs left her gate latch loose while trying to feed - all 6 of them escaped and began running every direction! Another person that has 8 outside dogs lives about a block away - HIS dogs got so excited THEY broke out too - NOW we've got 13 big dogs and one chihuahua running EVERYWHERE! We're all out trying to corral them and get them back to the correct house. Took well over an hour for the Roundup! We'z TIRED!
BIG HUGS to all that visit today!! SHARE OUR DANCE! It's a WONDERFUL Day!!!! WOOT WOOT!!!
