After yesterday morning's probably furshot, this was a surprise. I think with his new food that plus 2 is no longer a reliable marker. He was in the high 200s at +2 last night so I went to bed, although he got me up for food twice between 10 and midnight. And at 3 and 6.

I think we might use the time change to our advantage this weekend and try 7 and 7 so I can get a pm +3 more often.

Am at a work thing until 11 so hopefully he'll be done til I get back

Last night the +2 was lower than the pmps so not surprising he had a lower night and amps. You can experiment and try a +2.5 if you want. Unless Max was low at amps/pmps his onset was around +2.5. Changing to an earlier shot time is a good idea. I did 6 so I could get tests in before I needed to leave during the day.

Six would be hard. Would risk more furshots for sure in the morning. And I'm not necessarily home at 6 every evening. Even 7 might be challenging in that respect.
Previously a small +2 wasn't a sign that he was going to drop very far. But I need a mindset shift, its like a totally different cat now!

Came home to test and found vomit that looked like his food by his favorite spot.

That's the third time recently. Just have him Cerenia and Ondansetron and will offer him food in an hour or so.

I hope this isn't the start of a pancreatitis flare. He's been on an every 3 months cycle and we're at 3 months

I hope Charlie feels better and it's not the start of pancreatitis , sending positive vibes its not , he's a handsome boy :bighug::bighug::cat:

Yes, I gave him some food at +2. I always do that right before I head to bed. Not that it stops him yelling for more.

It would be nice if he just wanted to float along in those blues again tonight

I will have to see if I can make that happen. We're both creatures of habit.

He was 115 at +3. I gave him another spoonful of food and am in bed hoping he'll cruise along nicely. Although recently when he's had numbers like 115, 117, 122, he's dipped down into the low 70s and high 60s between +4 and +6. Which are fine numbers but they're a lot closer to 50 than I would like.

I need to see if he'll use the autofeeder again rather than just stand next to it and scream until; open it for him. He doesn't seem as hangry with his better numbers so maybe.

It's good for him to spend time in green as they give a chance for his pancreas to heal. He is getting flatter and flatter as his body gets used to lower numbers, which is great. You wnat him to surf green like he surfs blue. :-)
