Zyler must have still been hungry as he snuck on the counter while I was out walking the dog, took the cover off his bowl for later and ate most of hisAM snack before I put it down. With a full belly and knowing I was leaving he did not want to come out for another sugar test, managed to trick him to get a +1.8 but he did not let me hold his ear to clot long enough and noticed blood drop forming as he got away.
 
PMPS 157 I’ve never shot this low. Just gave his dinner, will wait till after he finishes and retest in maybe 30 min before shot?
 
Tested again after dinner 184. Will give 1.75U.

advice on how often I should test tonight?
 
For future reference, when you shoot a lower number (or in active cycles when numbers are dropping) you want to feed a little food (even just a tsp) every hour for the first 2-4 hours. You feed a little less with the shot so that they are hungry enough to eat a little every hour.

That makes so much sense, I was setting up a timed wet food feeder and trying to get him to eat out of it so for future I can space his wet food meals out easier.

+4 125 if it held steady am I safe for the night or do I need to keep checking him just in case he plummets?
