Trixie is being a big help with running nice, safe numbers while I contend with the Petey issue.
There's not too much to report yet today. He does seem like he's improving. I've been up since around 4:15, just to hang out with him and observe (he's probably getting sick of seeing my face by now!). He's seeming much more comfortable and "perky"; this morning, I got some really good purrs that were almost up to his usual volume. When he got out of the bed he was sleeping in, he did a great downward dog stretch. He did eat a few kibbles on his own - that's what actually got him out of bed. It wasn't much, but it was the first interest he's shown in food since Friday, so I've got my fingers seriously crossed. We assist fed him a little baby food last night, and when hubby is up (probably around +2), I want to do a little more, just to see if that will kick his appetite into gear. He doesn't seem too nauseated now, although I'm sure the empty stomach is not feeling 100%. He's definitely not himself, but I'm seeing glimpses of him in there.
Once again, I have to work today, but I don't go in till 10:45. It's definitely hard to be away when someone is not feeling well, but at least Mark will be home.
I can't thank all of you enough for your support...it's such a huge help.
BTB for a bit...
