Tom is doing OK. He is eating, although not as much as I would like. We had reduced his Pred. to 2ml 2x a day and I don't know if that's the reason for him starting to overgroom himself again (that and me forgetting twice) so we brought it back to 2.5ml. I also have been giving him some bupe in case he's in pain.
He has not overgroomed since. Maybe that's it right now.

Oh, and he got a cool tshirt

I didn't 'realize Tom was a fan of rock. . . \M/

Hoping that the tweaks you made with his meds do the trick and maximize Toms comfort.

Tom is off. Sleeping a lot today, even by kitty standards. He went out for a short walk earlier. But he just seems so old :cry:
Bg is up. He got his Pred. and shot this morning And bupe.

He won't eat right now. Multiple choices but only 2 bites.

He's sneezing too, 2 of the 3 are actually. Thinking of giving him some lisine. Anyone know if there's and issue with giving lisine, Pred. and bupe?

I keep looking at him and thinking that I'm doing all of this to make him feel better but I am just losing him. There's nothing I can do to make him better. And i'm sad just thinking how much I'm going to miss him :cry:

Oh no! I must have missed your last post. It sounds like a kitty cold going around your place right now, sorry i can't help with the l-lysine.....we'll just send Tom lots of healing vines from Leo and I.

I don't think so. He lets me pick him up and carry him around. Very tired though. I offered him treats and he ate them after taking some time sniffing. Kitty cold?
Decided to give a little bit of lysine to all 3 of them. Didn't shoot tonight though. I don't know if that's the right decision. So hard to know what the right thing is.
 
I'm hoping it's just an off day. See how he's feeling tomorrow.

Remember, steroids can depress his immune system. He may be more vulnerable to colds or infections.
