Good morning, everyone,

Rusty had a good night. This morning we had a short schmooze while waiting for the furnace guy to come and do the routine maintenance on our furnace. Apparently he will be late because of an emergency. Rusty went outside briefly. The yard was swarming with Junkos, White- throated sparrows, and lots of gray squirrels, red squirrels, and chipmunks. Rusty took off after a gray squirrel, but didn't catch it, thank goodness. Then he came back in. It is cold and nasty outdoors. Another day of drizzle and rain is predicted.

Everyone have a good day, hopefully with nicer weather than we are having. Vines to all in need,

RUSTY!!!!!!!!!!!! Radiators????? We are all packed and our way. Bug and Lola are taking the last of the paw Prints pizza out of the ovens, so we will eat well today. See ya in a few! YAY! Radiators! I luvs the radiators! ~~ Elsa

We are having the same wet drizzly gray weather as you. Just not as cold. Elsa is the only one that has wanted outside, and then it is very brief. Even Lola has stopped whining to get out. She seems content just to get those window sniffs. Happy hunting Rusty! It sounds like you have an abundance of critters in your yard.

Nice blue start for Rusty today! Good luck with the furnace guy. We had ours out yesterday and need a new inducer motor. :? Oh well. Better to find out now than later. Have a great day Ella!

Hi again,
Rusty is taking a "rest" day today.

The furnace guy didn't come: next Thursday is our new appointment. They had an emergency. Just as well. Usually the furnace takes a few days to settle down after they "service" it. (Just like cats when you change their dose!).

Off to the healthfood store to take advantage of "senior" day. The rain continues and is getting heavier. Cabin fever is setting in!

p.s. Thanks Wendy and Michelle for inquiring about the colors of our new canoes: black and red! (blue and green would be more appropriate, but the old ones are blue and green and we're keeping them for guests).

I wouldn't mind it if Cinco took a day "off" in the 100s!!! His days off are in the 200s. :sad: Of course, being the Lagoonmeister, I'm sure Rusty doesn't like to get too far from his domain. One must always keep a paw in, so to speak! :lol:

Hope you got some good deals at the health food store.

I agree, a day off in the blues would be fine by us! I hope the wether clears so you can get out in the new canoes soon.

I don't care much for radiators, I don't think...what is a radiator? but, Rusty. Oh my. Look at those windows! Those big tall windows with such absolutely perfect ledges! I love windows. Swoon.

Da toddies is perfect for a wet rainy day. I love getting toasty too. ~Neko

I too like blue rest days on the rare days they happen.

We did get the sun later in the day, enough of a hole in the clouds for the eclipse to show.

I used to have a mini-radiator to sit on to warm my bum. Then it went away. :sad: Thanks for a toasty day, Rusty.

It was a wireless router and disk. We called it the butt warmer. :lol: :lol:

Love the radiator picture....it looks sooooo wonderfully warm!

I wonder what the flat blue LagoonMeister has in mind for this evening??
