Ruby surfed again last night in safe green numbers and I was happy. Are these good numbers here to stay? Time will tell.

Things are gonna get chaotic today. Packing to move tomorrow, lots of cleaning to do. Thankfully the vacuum cleaner doesn't freak out the cats like it used to.

I have moved about 5 times since the cats have been in my life, once already since Ruby was diabetic. They adapt well to change and get kind of excited about being in a new place. Our new apartment will be much bigger than where we live now with 5 big windows for them to look out of and nice wide window sills for sunny cat naps.

The safety (no balconies) and happiness (sunny windows, big space to run around) of the cats were important considerations for the kind of apartment we chose, much to the chagrin of my dear patient partner.

Nice green PMPS. Still waiting for poop. Ruby's sitting in odd places in the house, meatloafing and looking uncomfortable. Did eat a little at dinnertime.

ETA: Poop reported! A few small hard pieces came out. Not ideal, but it happened.
