Re: 10/23 Michael amps 319 +5 300

Come on Michael, let's ditch this bounce and slide down to a nice blue.

How's his mood today Paula?

Better. Don't know what could have happened. I have never experienced anything like that before.
I hope the "D" didn't make him like that. I have heard that the "D" can make some cats violent.
This worries me :YMSIGH: . Michael is so good and gentle . Even the Vet & Vet techs comment on how good he is.

I'm so glad he's doing better, sweet little Michael. Hopefully it was just one of those odd moments that will never happen again. :YMHUG: :YMHUG: :YMHUG:

Looks like the bounce is clearing, get a +2 and prebed test if you can, if he is dropping fast leave higher carb food out for him.
Charlie was clearing a bounce coming into amps and at +4 his BG was 39, it would not have been a good day if I was not testing him.

I've never heard anyone report that diabetes made their cat angry or violent, paula. i've been on FDMB for almost 4 years and the only cat that became violent was Morgaine, who developed dementia. She's also the only cat I've heard of who developed dementia. I don't think that's what's happened to Michael.

Who knows what happened yesterday, but I would try to put it out of my mind and concentrate on today. Looks like he's thinking about clearing the bounce tonight.

If it happens again, i think getting his thyroid levels checked and an overall vet visit might be a good idea.
