Morning ~O) ~O) looking forward to one of Mannie's Venti special coffees! Thank you Helen, Roni and Melanie for the visits after I went ni ni.
Maggie is still in the yellow, but much better than that high pink after Vetty visit. I think she was worried it would be the enemas again yesterday. When she was on the exam table, it was all she could do searching for her carrier so that she could run for cover, poor sweetie! She leaned over the table trying to look underneath where it was placed. She calmed down after much loving and petting and is always so good with the Vet Techs. Mags seems to be feeling well, good shot I hope, good appy, and lots of critter patrol, sitting on her patio chair looking thru the screen. I think the other apartments closer to the freeway hillside see more critters.
Wishing all a nice day, I've got to return to Vet's office, as my script for Lactulose came in yesterday afternoon after I had already gone home, and then other errands. It is to be a nice cool day, so I'll take an early walk. Sometimes coincidentally I time it with another neighbor here who walks her dog. Healing vines to all kitties needing them.

Mags is looking much better this morning. I'm sure last night's high pink was that vetty visit....poor little girl! I'm sure she'll be happy to know that you're going to the vetty by yourself today!

YAY for a yellow amps. So much better than last nights pmps. What a relief for you I am sure.

Poor Maggie looking for her carrier. That would be my Elsa: not a big fan of the vetty office that one... it's OK Mags... no enemas this time. It takes alot of cuddles and reassurances when I take Elsa.

No critters on teh patio today maggie?

Mannie, thank you, I love the almond roca double shot mocha; it is wonderful and I'm sure a big seller. Out of the yellow and down to blue finally. No possum today either for Maggie. Once in a while we get the neighbor's kitty here just taking a stroll. I'm surprised Maggie doesn't have a fit, as there was one other cat that she really growled any time he came around.
I'm off shortly to the Vet's and a couple errands. I can't believe I have the heat on this morning!

Aren't kitties funny? I bring out the carrier and Leo runs for the hills, but when we're at the vet its the first place he tries to run to :lol:

Some better news this time with Maggie's b/w results. The Phosphous has gone down, and so has her BUN. Creatinine is the same, but we just started feeding the foods with lower Phosphorus recently. Her bg was 171 at the Vet. No change in her meds, but the Vet is pleased, except with the Creatinine, but maybe next time there will be more improvement.

Hi Rhiannon, thanks for the visit. I think, too, her numbers are the unclenching from Vetty, visit. :-D

Hi Tracy, they do make us laugh wanting back in the carrier as soon as they are on the exam table. :lol:

So glad the phosphorus has gone down. Let's hope the creatinine goes down next time. You are doing a great job, Ann! Hugs!

Hi Ann, Glad you had a good vet visit and Maggie has unclenched her numbers to cruise in the blues :-D I laughed about Maggie searching for her carrier, ours do the same thing - at the vet. Of course at home its the opposite, they scramble to get away when they see the carrier. :lol:

A little bounce, but not too bad.

Anne & Zener, the Vetty stress is gone today, and Mags wants to keep up with Zener and practice the slide.

Thanks Dale & Max, it was a relief to see some of the values improve.

Leslie & Jasper, that's the only time they love their carriers is at the Vet :lol: and for us to take them home in it.

Sounds like a good vetty visit, I'm glad that her Phos levels are coming down.

Tess, too tries her hardest to get back in that carrier, then she buries erself under every blankie in it!

Great Improvement from the vetty!! That is fantastic :-D So glad to see her doing better..
Moonie is due soon to go for T4 tests & BW to see if the hyper T meds are working for her-
She usually hides under my arm, figures if she cant see the vet, the vet cant see her - :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:
Also pretty nice blue day today...It is traumatic for them and us!! So glad things are looking up :mrgreen:

We dont have that many critters here now, Moonie isnt in the window as much as she used to be...she loves her hidey hole, but when she does see a critter cat(2)_steam she blows herself up & pulls at the screen trying to get to them..They are so brave from the inside :lol:

Ann & Tess, thanks on Maggie's Vetty visit. Much better after a month; I'm glad, too, on the Phosphorus.

Thanks Roni, it is encouraging to see the improvement. I think Mags will be on critter watch tonight. So funny with Moonie pulling at the screen trying to get at the critter. Mags is on possum patrol.

Vyktor, thank you! It's a date and we will celebrate, can't wait to see what kind of action, Mags xo xo :lol:
 
I'm glad Maggie had good bloodwork results. It's nice to see some blue this evening. Hopefully she'll keep surfing blue for you tonight.
 
Hi Ann & Maggie,

Rusty is the same way with his carrier at the vet's. Today he opened the door himself while we were waiting in the exam room and went into his carrier. It was hard to get him out!

So glad to hear that Maggie is doing better. Nice blue this evening.
