I can't believe we made it!! I was so close to losing hope when Darwin was bouncing all over the place, and regulation never felt like it was going to help, let alone remission!! I am beyond, BEYOND appreciative for all the help and support from all my friends at FDMB! I know I'd never have gotten Darwin :otj: without all of your help!! So many of you have been there to help and stay up while I worried and obsessed over the right choice for Darwin - or panicked over a low/quick drop!!
A very special thank you to @Mandy & Rex for ALWAYS being there to help me out! :bighug:
I will definitely do my best to continue to check in regularly - I need to see how all the kitties are coming along anyway!! :D:D

What an amazing journey! you've done a lot of hard work, and have been so very dedicated to Darwin through all of your ups and downs (literally! Lol) kudos to you for being such a caring bean, Darwin is so very lucky to have you! Congrats Darwin, enjoy those falls, you will make more new friends there, and perhaps see some old buddies join you one day ;)

Don't forget that once a diabetic, always a diabetic, so don't let your guard down. I made that mistake and didn't test for several months, so I missed the signs that Cinco was falling out of remission. Post updates now and then so we can encourage Darwin to stay and play at the Falls!

Thanks everyone!! Darwin's Fructosamine came back just before I left work, and was 296 which is well within normal range. His urinalysis to the lab was perfect, and the CBC looked good so far, but BG hadn't come back yet. So stoked!!

I am planning a dental for him in the next month or so, and will continue to check him often (don't think I couldn't!). He was a brave boy at the vet today and didn't even pee in his carrier! :D:D:D
