wow, how I'd love to see numbers like this! I know they're higher than you'd like, but they're still great!

Don't get me wrong....Hope folks don't think I'm complaining.....Just trying to figure out Miss Curry.

Tena, I would suggest leaving this dose for a while and see where she goes. However, someone with more knowledge than myself will be able to help you on this. :) They're probably making a strong pot of coffee as we speak.

I took a look at your SS, and your dates are wrong for the days. Today's date is Saturday, October 23, 2010. It's not the 24th. LOL :) Just thought I'd point it out.

Thanks Angela...will get those dates changed. And I'm definitely planning on keeping this dose...no need to change....Just wondering if the shed is needing to fill a bit here when I increased.

Hoping she comes down a bit more (+3 is her usual nadir though) otherwise her preshots go over 100.

Maybe its the full moon.....doubtful....didn't do anything to her on the last full moon.

Each moon is different it seems....but there does seem to be something to it's influence...
That is a nice +3 for Curry... :mrgreen:
In the sticky "New to the Group" there is a picture of the 0.1u dose Tena...

The sticky show the other smaller dose too...interesting, isn't it?
One thing I read and do...is I depress the plunger to give the insulin, but then I keep the plunger depressed as I withdraw the nee4dle. If you do it that way, the insulin won't be sucked back into the syringe ...know what I mean? It is wiped off as you pull the needle out. I think if you let go of the plunger after shooting while it's still inside, there's a chance that the little drops of insulin will just go back into the needle.... I have been doing that even with Shadow's larger dose too...

Good morning! I believe so on the shed. My understanding is that it can take a few days for a dose increase to settle. Good luck on the new dose. nice +3 though!

Pat - Thanks for the visual. And you are right about depressing the syringe while pulling it out. I noticed a couple of times w/the small doses there was a smidge left in the needle.....

Michelle - thanks for feedback on the shed question.


In looking over Curry's SS......she was doing really well on the .9 and 1 unit BEFORE the move......I'm wondering if we kinda lost momentum this past month due the all the changes w/the move and the need to drastically reduce her insulin at that point. Her numbers are looking good now....but I'm feeling we just loss bit of that momentum from a month ago. Life happens, eh?

Will watch this dose for 6 cycles to see watch happens.

Tena I know you're disappointed we get so hungry for those greens. Curry hasn't done too badly and actually looks good with those blues and greens. Definitely seems to be heading in the right direction. Greens :mrgreen: is good :lol:
