Yesterday

I took a nap way too late in the day yesterday and so ended up staying up until 2 a.m. I was able to get my sleepy behind up at 7:00 to do Champ's test feed shoot, but went btb and didn't get back up until 10:30. :o Champ was one hungry little duder, let me tell you!!! His yowling is what finally got me out of bed. I have GOT to get an autofeeder for the weekends so I can sleep in all day if I want!!! :lol:

We have another beautiful day here in Las Vegas. The sky is so blue and the temperature is in the 70's (will only get to the mid 80's). This is the kind of weather I wish we had all year long!! I'm going to try to get outside to do some clean up in the yard....it so desperately needs it!!!

Nice +3+5 for Champ!! LOL on the btb....I tried this morning only to be yelled at because a little furball decided she needed the WHOLE bed and not just her spot. :o :roll: ;-) Ya just gotta luv 'em!!

Enjoy working outside, Patty....the weather sounds like what we have here, only we are starting the day out in the low 50's. Love the blue skies and 70's.

You definitely need to get an autofeeder. Luv mine...both of mine. It took Curry awhile to use it....she was slow learner. :smile:

Hi Patty, yes you need an auto feeder for sleep ins on the weekend, but it might not gurantee Champ trying to wake you up anyway, if he's anything like Mags. I bought the CatMate at Amazon and love it. It comes with an ice pak to place underneath the two plates. I think Ella has the same one. Champ is coming down there nice at the 152. Thanks for stopping by our condo and for your encouragement.

Congrats on getting a little extra sleep today. I wish I knew what that was like. I also use the CatMate and love it. Simon took to it like a fish in water. Looks like Champ is posting some nice numbers this afternoon.

That's a nice drop, but not too fast. I fully intended to go btb too, but I am obsessing on cat food. Enjoy the outdoors while it is nice.

We've finally gotten Tess using her feeder, that is when she wakes up and notices. I found 2 things to be very important
  • 1 - Start out w/ a food he really likes and can smell in there
    2 - Be cosistent. They are creatures of habit. If it opens and you haven't filled it, he may stop checking.

Well Champ looks like he's having a nice cycle. Sounds like a very nice day in Vegas, not too cold and not too hot.

I'm interested in hearing how Champ takes to the autofeeder, it would be nice to have our kitties poke themselves too so we can go BTB for as long as we want!!!! :lol:

I would love to get Willie to poke himself. And serve himself breakfast. And then the shot. Just the AM... I can handle the PM! :lol: :lol: :lol:
