Mornin' :coffee:

Thinking a little bounce for Beenie. She just loves to do the FD dance...always swaying and bopping around
may i has this dance.jpg

Taking the civvie to the vet today to get a steroid shot. He's coughing like he has in the past, almost like an asthmatic cough. Last time he had the shot was June. Vet said if all it takes is a steroid shot 3-4 times a year that's better than an inhaler. He's an easy traveler so no vet trip stress with him:)

Going to talk to the vet about Beenie of course and getting her to a specialist. I want to get her heart checked out. There is definitely more going on with her and I've tried AB's and that pesky cough still is around. Her teary eyes have been better the past few days but I suspect that will return eventually anyway. There's a specialty clinic closer that I thought thanks to @Ella & Rusty & Stu(GA) .

Chin scritches to all the kitties
Have a great Monday:p

I hope Beenie heads down for you today. Sending good vetty vines for your civvie. I hope the vet agrees for Beenie to see a specialist. Sending prayers.

Vet visit went fine for the civvie. Discussed Beenie and vet agreed a specialist would be a very good idea. The clinic I was going to look into he recommended. He even referred us to an IM there. There is a cardiologist at the clinic that he said was one of the best. No bed side manner he warned. I told him none needed, one of the best was all I needed to hear. So when I got home I called to make an appointment and got one for tomorrow morning!! So we go to see an IM and see if we can figure out what's going on with Beenie. Cardiologist would be a second step once the IM meets/exams her.

And the dreaded car ride:banghead:....I'm going to give her gaba again and spray the carrier with Feliaway. Cat behaviorist gave a few other tips as well. We're going to work together on getting Beenie desensitized to the carrier and travel but that will take time. I'm not willing to wait just to get her to the vet. We'll deal with the mess when we get home.

I hope Beenie surfs tonight. This is a little unlike her not to rise a lot after PMPS. This bean will have to keep a watchful eyeo_O

Great news, sending positive car ride vines, maybe Beenie will surprise you and have a perfect trip :). Interesting numbers after PMPS...be a good girl, Beenie, no need for any shenanigans!

Great numbers for Beenie tonite looks like a good surf in the shallow end. Hope the car ride goes well. Have you ever tried putting one of her civvies in the carrier with her to go to the vet? Do they get along okay? We have a larger carrier and Seamus one of our civvies travels much better when Titan goes with him, so the two sit together for the ride. Just a thought.

Hope the car ride goes well.
Thanks!

No and the carriers would not big enough for two. Plus if she did still poopus then I would have two cats to clean:stop:. A chance I'm not willing to takeo_O. I bet it would possibly relax her if Ming was with her. Good idea but for tomorrow we rough it and I just will hope for the best. This is a longer car ride then my regular vet so I'm not hopeful we will get through the trip unscathed:rolleyes:

Aww, Darwin hates car rides as well! I am thankfully only 3 minutes from work when I take him in, but I had hoped he could see my dog's holistic vet in the future - it's a 30 minutes drive though :woot::eek: We use Gaba a lot for anti-anxiety in cats and have great results, but it's still no fun for them!

Hoping Beenie surfs safely tonight!! :D

Sending good vetty and good travel vines for tomorrow. :bighug: I liked the IM/cardio vet combo I dealt with, hope you do. Sounds like it's a good idea having the IM vet be a front for the cardio vetty. :p

Be good tonight Beenie.
