So sorry to be so late with getting Zener's condo up, lots of running around today including the dentist, as I prepare for my travel next week. Zener had a cat fight last night (details in yesterday's condo) with a young female new to the neighborhood, so he is a little sore and subdued today. It seemed like so much fun last night. :twisted: We did a thorough inspection last night and he appeared to be physically okay with no obvious blood or punctures anywhere. There was a little saliva on his scruff and that was it. Despite all the drama last night and feeling a little punk this morning, he's had a nice blue surf. Poo patrol has been lax, though there was one LB deposit, we're not sure from whom. :?

His appy was pretty iffy this morning and with a 40 point drop in the first 90 minutes, we gave his a sliver of appy stimulant just to be safe. He is moving around like a stiff old man, so we are telling him he is too old for such foolishness. I suppose we should be delighted he is feeling good enough to want to rumble. :cool:

Oh my with the kitty fight and glad Zener is okay. He sure was guarding his turf. Zener, you had a rumble with a female? :-D Sounds like they were ready to go at it with the saliva on Zener. Well now, I wonder who did the poo, Tilly or Zener? Thanks for stopping in and checking on Mags. I was as surprised, too! Sending appy and feel better vines for Zener, and no more rumbles tonight, Zener. Hope all goes well, Anne, with getting everything done for the trip.

Hey Zener - what's up with that? Some chick invading your turf? I hope all is okay - the cat fights can get rough quickly. Walking around like an old man - poor guy!

I'm thinking Zener wanted to lay down the law with the new chick in town to make sure she understood that Tillie is the ONLY girl in his life! You tell 'er, Zener. Lovely blues today! Hope you guys have a great night! Sweet dreams!

Ah well, all good things must come to an end, so buh bye blues and hello stinky pinky - ugh. The big guy seems to be feeling better this evening and moving around a little easier. He is inside on his sheepskin pad and not outside looking for trouble!

@Ann & Maggie - Appy better tonight. Zener is big on guarding his domain. We are keeping a close watch on him for any signs of possible infections. The last time he got in a fight a couple of years ago, he ended up getting really sick. And that was about 3 months before his FD diagnosis. Poo patrol is keeping an eye on the state of poo! Things are starting to get a little crazy getting ready for my trip and setting up a new computer at the same time, what was I thinking? :roll:

@Roni - the mighty Z definitely has some catitude! :lol: He thinks he is the toughest thing around, or at least, in his domain! We are keeping an eye out for the intruder kitty to discourage her, though Zener may have taken care of that last night. We may get a break tonight on night duty with his current numbers.

@Lisa & Leo - he does not take kindly to any critter of any sort or gender in his domain! :twisted: He is walking better tonight, so hopefully he will recover quickly.

@Deborah - law is laid down in the backyard. Zener has even been known to chase Tillie a few times in the backyard after dark! :cool:

Sorry for the late post. I take the day to go and play and then never can get caught up at night.... Hope your day has been a good one.

What a nice AM surf - wow: great numbers! bummer on tonight. I hope this bounce is a short one. somehow I missed yesterdays drama - a cat fight, Z-Man- did you win?
 
@Michelle & Mannie - if there was a winner, it was the mighty Z. The other cat went scrambling over the fence.

Good news about tonight's blech numbers, pokey break for the Z-meister and it's early sweet dreams for beans.
