Tarragon started feeling kind of bad on Sunday. His tummy was sore when we picked him up and he was peeing next to the lb. We went to the vet yesterday and, sure enough, he has a UTI. It has been awhile since he has had one of those. He is on ABs and should be good as new in no time. Other than that, no coughs and he is happy furry purry. The weather has been great so he and Turnup have been spending a lot of outside time with Charlie. It is amazing what it has done for their state of mind.

OT: I am so sorry it has been so long. It has been crazy since Thurs night and I haven't had a chance to get online. Mason has been driving my old car all through college up until now. Thursday, during rush hour on his way home from work, the front axle broke. The car was old with 160K+ miles on it and it looks like it just rusted through. We are very fortunate that he is an excellent driver, no one was hurt, and he was able to get it to the side of the road without hitting anyone else. It could have been much worse. Friday and Saturday were spent getting rid of the old car and car shopping. Yuck!!! Yesterday was spent getting his insurance situated and all of the pike passes, etc. He is in a nice new sports car and is all set now.

Morning Melissa ~O) ~O) ~O)

    on your weekend! I am glad that no one was hurt with the car thing. That is one of my worst nightmares: a breaking axle. I remember sometime ago being on the freeway, some guys axle broke, flew off the car an onto the side (thank gawd the side) of the freeway. He too managed to get the car to the shoulder of the freeway. I am so glad Mason is OK. LOVE the new sports car! :-D :-D :-D :-D I am sure the car shopping was FUN, getting rid of the old: not so much.... that is never fun.

Poor Tarragon! A UTI? Be well soon little one. I hope he will tolerate the AB's well. Mannie usually did ok with them, until he started having other issues. Clav for Mr T? Wishing him a speedy recovery! Nice start today too Tarragon. I so love the blue ones!

Hvae a great day today Melissa. I hope all goes well.

Hi Melissa,
Healing-fast vines for Tarragon this morning. It's good that you caught the UTI right away. It's wonderful to have good weather at this time of year so that the furries can go out and enjoy themselves.

Wow on Mason's car breakdown! We are thankful that he wasn't hurt and that no one else was, either. How scary. I'm sure he will love his new wheels.

Have a fine day,

Hugs, scritches,

Ella & Rusty

Hi guys .. nice blue tarragon! Sorry to hear about the UTI, hope the AB's clear it up in no time .. and wow, scary on the front axle breaking! Glad to hear no one was hurt .. Have a great day guys!

I was a bit worried about you guys yesterday...yikes, what a weekend! I'm so glad you caught T's UTI so quickly. I hope he does OK with the clavamox. I know so many kitties have a hard time with it, including my civvie Petey. Sending tons of feel better vines to the little guy.

Wow on Mason - thank God everyone is OK! I'm sure he's enjoying his new sports car! A new car is great...but I hate car payments, so I don't see new cars very often!

I'm glad the furkids are enjoying some outdoor time. A little sunshine goes a long way to boost the spirit!

Have a great day, Melissa - and I hope it is super boring, too!

Amy

Hi Melissa. Poor Tarragon. Hope he's rid of the UTI soon. Glad that he hasn't been coughing. Nice that he, Turnip and Charlie can enjoy some outdoor time.

Thank goodness Mason was able to get to the side of the road safely. Maybe it being rush hour was a blessing in disguise. He might have been going a bit faster had there not been traffic. It's nice that he now has a good car. Young people, just starting out have such a difficult time now a days so that's one less thing he has to worry about.

Sending lots of healing vines to Tarragon.

Sorry about the UTI. I hope Tarragon gets over it quickly and the ABs don't cause any tummy problems. I bet Tarragon and Turnup are loving getting outside more. I'm glad Mason was okay. How scary.

Nice AMPS, but sorry about the UTI. Be sure to give Mr T some probiotics too, a couple of hours after the abs. Gotta keep those good bacteria happy. It usually takes a few days to start seeing any side effects.
