Has Rico had Stomorgyl before? Do you know if he has any GI side effects from it? I'm personally not a fan of any drug with metronidazole in it. It can damage the gut biome. Antibiotics can kill the good bacteria as well as the bad. You should be giving probiotics, at least two hours apart, to try to replace to good bacteria.

You do want to treat any inflammation as that can lead to insulin resistance - higher BGs.

Yesterday might have been New Dose Wonkiness. And some bounce. Good to see him back in green.

Although he had a dental, every 3-4 months his gums become sore and he is on Stomorgyl for 5-7 days. He is already taking pro and prebiotics daily ("Love Bugs" by Adored Beast). I don't know whether this medicine affects his BG though.

Today was a great day for Rico!! ;)
