Hopefully he's back to good numbers. I'm anxiously waiting for his labs. My vet has always called the next day but didn't yesterday. The only time he didn't was when someone messed up in the office. So no call last night is odd.

All right, Max. Looks like the start of a good day for you. How 'bout trying out for Mr. Smooth?

Hope your vet calls soon. The waiting is so hard.

Looking hopeful. I caved and left my vet a message. He always calls the next day so I'm thinking someone goofed and filed his field away or put his results in the wrong place. Now I know I'll get a call some time today and the results emailed. So I don't have to hang around waiting. I just don't want to have to bring him back in if any follow up labs are needed so need to make sure the blood isn't thrown out or too old.

Oh, I hate when they don't call right away with the results....the anxiety is brutal. Sending tons of good result vines your way!!

He's stable. Yay! Creatinine went from 2.7 to 2.6. BUN was 46 but he had eaten and it's been there even when his creatinine was 1.7. His USG was 1.027 and the protein went down from +1 to trace. My vet doesn't feel it would be any higher if done first thing in the morning. The new pancreatitis test was elevated but that could be from the diabetes or CKD. His glucose was 133 and none in the urine. I don't need to bring him back for 2-3 months. I guess he's going to urinate a lot from now on.
Thanks for stopping by Carla, Bron, Amy, Marilyn, and Chris.
