We are doing well here. No more poops on the bed. Whew! It's been raining for about 2 days and the day before was drizzly. We've been trying to get a fence up to keep Emma away from the culvert that will fill with water this Winter. The rain stopped us from finishing it yesterda. Someone is coming to install a driveway gate today. Emma thinks the park across the street is very interesting especially when she hears people over there.

Max is pretty boring, which is good. He's sitting on the patio lounge chair right now. He loves that chair. He used to sit on it at grandma's house, and she would allow it even though he sheds all over it. Grandma gave it to us, and Max is thrilled (as thrilled as he is willing to show, that is.) I had to rinse his feet off when he got out of the litter box earlier. He got pee on them. He was furious, of course. Poor baby.

Good to hear the bed has stopped being a litter box. While otj is wonderful, I can now see how much it is like waiting for the other
shoe to drop. The biggest best difference is not having to worry about potential hypo drops.

Good idea for fencing. Emma doesn't need roaming freedom. :-D
We were one of those families who had to have our son on a leash at times. ( strange looks from everyone :o )
He would bolt and he still managed to run into a cactus while on the leash on a hike once. Big huge thorns in his shins. We didn't even
know how/when he did it.
I never could be near water. Heck , I couldn't be outside with him without assuming the ready to run position.

We didn't know he was adhd until he was 6 which explained our difficulties. He was also a kinetic learner.

Hey Max. Sounds like things have settled down in your world. Guess you just don't like change and let your beans know it, huh?

Thanks for celebrating w/ us. Fur Ball is getting used to the falls (or should I better clarify that as his beans are trying to get used to it). He doesn't seem to be eating like he used to and it gets me all worried. Ughh. Trying to let him be a cat now.

Glad Max is good.

Thanks for stopping by Rhiannon and Karen. I'm sorry to hear your son had ADHD, Rhiannon. We have considered the leash option, and may still do it. I'm trying to train her without it if I can. She's a wild one!

Hi Dale, so great to see a Max condo and hearing how he's enjoying the Falls. That was so sweet of Grandma to give Max his favorite patio lounge chair. I'm glad no more pooping on the beddy. Wasn't that rain nice, but not if you're trying to put up a fence! Hope it gets up soon, as more rain is on the way later this week I think. Little Emma is a social butterfly wanting to see what the people on the other side of the fence are doing. :-D Have a nice day and good luck with the fence.

Hi, Ann. So nice to see your post. Yes, Emma is a butterfly or a moth, maybe. She's into everything she shouldn't be just like moths! The gate is in! Now I don't have to be worried she'll get into the road. The fence can wait, but that gate was crucial.

How is Maggie? Doing better I hope!

Hi Dale, thank goodness the gate is in, now no worries with little Emma. I can imagine the relief. Maggie is hanging in there okay. I will get her b/w results tomorrow and will let you know. Hugs to little Emma and you and Max.
