Yesterday's condo with belly/tshirt pictures: http://felinediabetes.com/FDMB/viewtopic.php?f=9&t=54765

Good Morning LL,

Well i've got a cat that's mad at me at the moment. I took his shirt off for his shot and so he could eat breffis, we had a good test, shoot and feed and the moment i turn around he's trying to lick his belly all sneaky-like, i told him NO! he knew what i was NO-ing him about, but then was still trying to sneakily lick his belly again. So i guess its tshirts for at least the week i'm home. I was thinking about heading to walmart today to find some baby shirts that will fit Leo. We had a good night that was full of cuddles and he slept with me under the blankets for most of the night.

BTB for a bit, then condo visiting!!!! Finally!

Re: 10/22 Leo AMPS 124

Nice AMPS!! Sneaky buggars aren't they?!?!?

How about a baby onsie? I used one once on a cat, and if you get the kind with 3 snaps at the "crotch" you can snap the outside 2 and let the middle one gap. If you're lucky, the tail and "other business" will aim itself neatly out of the gap.

Re: 10/22 Leo AMPS 124

Morning Tracy & Leo, have fun with shopping for some cute baby shirts for Leo. So nice when they are all cuddly and sleep with you. Have a wonderful day.

Re: 10/22 Leo AMPS 124

Poor Leo! He just can't catch a break. I always love the little look on their faces when they know they are busted. That indignant little "what?!? you talkin to me?!?"   Hope you are able to find something fashionable to suit Leo's taste today while you're out shopping.   What is interesting is that whatever is wrong doesn't seem to be affecting his numbers at all. that's one bit of good news at least!

Hope you have a great weekend!

Re: 10/22 Leo AMPS 124

Very nice start to Leo's day. Cats are so funny thinking they are going to fool us by sneaking around. Simon does that when we let him out for a little supervised outside time. When he tries to eat grass, we tell him no. Then he will look like he is looking at something else and will be sneaking a little piece of grass on the side of his face that is turned away from us. They sure are smart!

Have fun baby clothes shopping. Just don't tell the sales people that you are shopping for clothes for your cat. They may think you are someone that needs to be watched while you are in the store due to strange behavior!

Re: 10/22 Leo AMPS 124

Poor itchy bellied Leon! I hope you find something so fetching that he won't mind styling around. Weezer doesn't sneak. She has a different understanding of "NO". It goes something this: NO Weezer! OK...... How about now? NO! OK......How about now? NO Weezer! Now? Now?

Re: 10/22 Leo AMPS 124, +2.5 70

I posted this on your old condo this morning

Is it spreading at all or really healing up? I'd think it was a serious skin infection that he has - like cellulitis or something similar. Wow he must be feeling that. I doubt that came about from licking alone. He got the two week antibiotic shot right?

Re: 10/22 Leo AMPS 124, +2.5 70

Leo - just LOOK at you all green and handsome!

I can't wait to see pictures of his newest clothes Tracy....I'll bet you can find some salesperson that will get a kick out of helping you dress him.

Hugs,

Karrie, no he did not get the covenia shot, i made sure and put that on his file at the vet clinic. He is on clavaseptin for 10 days. At this point it is healing and all dried up, it was so bad that it is going to take forever to heal, i know that for sure.

Re: 10/22 Leo AMPS 124, +2.5 70

Glad to see his numbers coming back down. Sorry he doesn't like his t-shirts!! Gracie had to wear one after she was spayed and she was SO adorable in it and it never bothered her.

Hope you find one he likes and his belly gets much better soon.

well i made it to walmart and found the perfect baby shirts for Leo. I now know he wears a size 4! Its an actual wifebeater shirt too, and he doesn't mind it at all. He's been walking around all stiff legged but i'm sure he'll get over that.

Leo's pictures made me smile from ear to ear. Love them!!! Go Leo!!!!

Maverick wore these orange or blue baby shirts when he had his feeding tube for 10 weeks. At the time I had a phobia about taking pictures - long story. I always wish I had them. He looked so adorable in them and I still have them saved. When he got his tube out and the shirt was off, he looked like something was wrong. My brain was so used to seeing him in a shirt. It took a lot of getting used to seeing him nekkid @-)

Leo looks so cute in his new shirts. I feel like dressing Maggie up for halloween! Beautiful numbers today and so glad Leo is feeling better.

Hi Tracy and Leo,
I am pretty new to LL and have never stopped by, but your wife beater subject got my curiosity going. Hope you don't mind.
Poor Leo's belly!! OMG. Is it possible he got into some kind of plant irritant? Poison ivy or something? I don't know if there is a rash, but there are a lot of plants that are toxic. Though cats are usually smart enough to avoid toxic substances. Poor kitty!
Healing vines to Leo!

Love the shirt! Quite a fashion statment being made here. Have a great night! I hope he continues tolerating it well to give time to heal.

oh bwahahaha on the t-shirts! size 4, eh? he's a big boy!

is there something that can be rubbed on his bare skin before the shirt goes on to help it heal and not itch? i'm thinking something like bag balm. i haven't ever used it but i have friends that swear by it. i don't know if it would be a problem if he licked it or not, though.

I wondered too about putting some sort of cream on too Julie, but the vet says to let it dry out and no creams or bandages.
