We're just hangin' in the blues over here. I've about convinced myself that the liquid Gaba I had started Jude on had sugar in it. It's not supposed to, but the compounding pharmacy has made the mistake of a sugary flavoring in the past. As soon as I started him back on Gaba, his bg went up into the stinkies. When I took him off the Gaba a couple of days ago, his bg came down. Could just be coincidence.

Safe surfs this evening, kittens!

Question about neuropathy: the son of a friend in WA state has had a stray cat come to him, and he took it in for testing and the poor thing has FD, CKD, a UTI, and it looks like neuropathy as it's walking on its hocks. I've checked the forum, but I'm not seeing the dosing for Zobaline. That is what the cat should take, correct? Anything else for the neuropathy?

There's only one way to find out, Mary 👀👀🤢. I made myself feel ill just typing that out...

I hope he keeps surfin steady for you
I had the vet call in a new script with strict instructions to make it without any sugar. I'm wondering if the sugar is getting into the formula in another way. Like, I'm wondering if they are taking liquid gaba, which might have sugar in it, and adding flavoring to it?? I just find it pretty odd that his numbers went up on it.

Awww poor baby. I hope you’ll get some good answers on this!

And wow great catch on the liquid gaba. I never would have thought that it could contain sugars.

Yeah I wondered that as well when I had to give Bell liquid Gaba. It was "cotton candy" flavored or something but apparently didn't have sugar. I don't remember seeing a drastic change during Bell's numbers, though.

I couldn't find zobaline in Canada so I did vit V
B12 methylcobalamin for Nestle 5000 mcg daily. I think that's the recommended dose but maybe someone more experienced could confirm that?
Hope this helps. I used to buy it on the vitacost website.
