Hi LL!
I thought I would drop in for a quick update on Daphne. She is doing great, OTJ for about 3 ½ mths now. I haven't been around to visit because my health is not so great. I'm just thrilled with how Daphne is looking and acting. She is on the higher side of the BGs, but she comes down to greens when we check. Last check was on 10/1 and it was an 89. For almost 18 years old, I can't be more pleased. She started to go upstairs a few times even. I don't have her on the Adequan even though I have it, I don't see any evidence of pain. I keep her warm when it is damp and chilly, but other then that, I just think her pain must have been related to the diabetes, and the food she used to be on. I think her diet of high quality food makes all of the difference. I can see it in her silky fur, something that she didn’t have before her diet change. She is still eating wet EVO 95%, and still always has a big appetite. I have the feeders working all day, with 8 mini meals.
So I guess that’s about it. I'll try and put a picture of Daphne that I took on Sat. (when I tried to post, and it didn’t work). I’m trying to work my way around for some visits, (I'm not even supposed to be off the floor or bed… long story, but mostly back issues…), but maybe a few visits a day, I will try to manage.
Miss you LL!
Sending white light and prayers to all the kitties and beans who may need them, and many extra for sweet Rocket and Claudia.
