Okay, so I'm making a big deal out of something that really isn't, but I was soooo happy with Cinco's number lately that the past couple of days really depressed me. I honestly did feel like dancing this morning when I saw he was coming out of it!

An interesting new occurrence is that Cinco is moving around more - he normally pretty much stays in one small area, except for litter box visits. Since his great run of numbers started, he's been moving around the family room more and even comes to meet me when I bring his breakfast instead of laying there, waiting to be served! I take this as yet another reinforcement of our decision to remove that eye - he is clearly feeling better. He seems to be sleeping a tad less, too (just a tad - he is still a cat, after all). This makes me very happy.
Thanks for visiting last night/this morning, Emily, Elise, Carla and Ruth.
Ruth, I have been the Queen of the Late Night Condos for some time now. I noticed you have been trying to usurp my title, but be warned: I have more experience, am a major night owl and will prevail!    You should know that today's "early" condo is an aberration for me. ;-)
Sasha ate almost an entire jar of baby food last night. I put some SEB in it, and she still likes it. I may keep giving it to her, and Harvey too. She got her Ondansetron about an hour ago, so I'm going to see if she'll eat breakfast shortly.
Harvey is still acting like he's got some tummy issues. No barf this morning (anti-jinx), but he's eating smaller amounts at a time (which is not really a bad thing) and just seems a little off. I do think it's gas or acid. I hope the SEB will help that. He's still playing and jumping on my lap when I'm typing and otherwise behaving normally. He does eventually eat a normal amount, so I'm not worried about that.
Another beautiful day in Northern CA. It's starting to get colder at night, so I'm fearing that the tomatoes may be on the way out. I'm going to make enchiladas tonight and whip up a big batch of salsa. I'm excited to also be able to use chili peppers from our garden. We have lots of jalapenos and I may even throw in a habanero or two. I have a lot of tomatoes that need to be used up. I don't eat the salsa - I can't stand hot food, but DH has a cast iron stomach and the hotter the better. I wear gloves and a mask when I make his salsa! Yes Ruth, we are northeast of San Jose - half way between Sacramento and San Francisco. Some of my tomato vines are pretty huge. Some of my pepper plants are really tall, too.
Sending healing vines to all in need (especially Blackie) and hugs to all their beans :YMHUG: Prayers continue for Amy's DF, Lyresa's DF, Lisa's DF and Elise's DM.
