Good morning!
AMPS 175 shooting 3.25u

Boomer got me up once last night, just as I was falling asleep:rolleyes:

On the agenda today.....DH will be going out for lunch with a friend; normally I would go out prior to that but it's very cloudy out right now so I'm waiting to see what happens with the weather. And I have lots of editing to do!

Yesterday in my backyard I had a Hairy Woodpecker, a Downy Woodpecker (both in the tree) and a Red-Bellied Woodpecker on the feeder, all at the same time. :woot::woot::woot: And I have another "first" that happened in my backyard....a Wood Thrush. I do have pictures, I'm hoping to get better ones as it was in the shadows previously.

Today's photo is a bit different than usual......I took it a couple of days ago when there had been a heavy frost and the morning sunshine was backlighting the wildflowers (aka weeds) and shining on the frost-covered plants in the background (which caused the small circles, called "bokeh"). I call it "Morning Sparkles".

I love the 'morning sparkles'! Have you ever captured a spider's web with the dew? So beautiful in the morning light...

Hope Boomer and you have a great day!

One morning not too long ago I entered the Saunders Pond area and the first thing I noticed were all the webs with dew! Yes I absolutely did photograph them!

+3 121 Looks like we might see some green today.
Wow where did that 3 hours go? Wandering around the house not getting too much accomplished, just waiting for the clouds to clear (which they haven't) and getting annoyed at DH  who has now left to run errands and have lunch with his friend.

Nice start for Deputy Boomer.

I don't think the clouds will clear today. It is so warm outside: feels like a damp spring day.

Neat on all the woodpeckers and the Wood Thrush. I'm getting ready to participate in the Project Feeder Watch of the Cornell Lab of Ornithology. It starts officially on 9 November and goes until spring. We haven't had a lot of migrants at our feeders this Fall. I see only the usual Chickadees, a Nuthatch, and a couple of BlueJAys (and lots of chipmunks). But I am a "casual" observer.

Get lots done today despite the weather.

He told me at +4.5 that he was low. Tested. 103. He lied to get food  Gave him a couple of pieces of chicken.

+6 113 Well I thought we'd see green today. Guess not.
