Well, today has just been sheer weirdness in Binkstown.
Was supposed to pick the Momster up at 5 am to take her to meet some family for coffee...
thought it was odd that she asked me to drive, cuz she hates the zoom zoom-
prefers her Monte Carlo with the huge racing engine (a must-have for every tiny 81 yr old woman).
She didnt answer the door, or answer my cell when I called, so ran back to the house, got my spare keys,
and when i went in, she was sitting in the hallway in front of the bookcase.
She insists that she was looking for a book to take to my cousin, but she seemed very shaky & a little confused.
When I finally got in there, it was 15 after 5am, and you have to understand- I can count the number of times this woman
has been late for ANYTHING in 40 years on one hand. Not sure what is going on with her.
So, distracted, I pulled a real faux pas with Binks' shot...the needle was slightly bent when i opened the wrapper,
but i straightened it and used it anyway (even tho I have 2 full boxes of needles)
...and when i shot, part of the insulin came out of the base of the needle.
so again, I'm not sure what his dose was this am.
4 of 5 p's so far...
guess we'll see where he goes...
and this seems like a fitting pic today
