Bounce appears to be clearing. Given PM+6 of 271 and AMPS of 280, it looks as though Bama surfed in the upper yellows all night. This typically results in a bounce after 12 to 24 hours so we shall see. Unfortunately I have to be out much of the day so I will be unable to monitor his AM+ numbers. I'll try to get +2 and +4 before I leave.

He had his first taste of FF turkey & giblets and seemed to like it but that is how it goes sometimes with new brands. We'll see. He ate well. I have learned a good bit about his night time hours since getting up in the middle of the night to catch BG readings, give and remove food, etc. He is much more alert and chatty than he is in the middle of the day when I prefer to be awake.

Good morning, Gina. Not a bad start to Bama's morning. I hope you enjoy your day and glad to know he likes the FF turkey & giblets. Susie used to like it, too. You might also try the Friskies turkey and giblets. Both are affordable.

He’s a night owl!

I have some cats that love Friskies Turkey and Giblets. It does have fish in it though. Not sure if that’s a problem for Bama.

I really don't like the ingredients in Friskies--fish broth, carrageenan, etc--nor do I want to get the larger cans. The 3 oz can is plenty despite the cat food companies recommending multiple cans per day based on cat's weight. The most I think I could get him to eat if ever I got him totally off dry would be about 2 & 1/2 of the 3 oz. cans per day.
