So far Magellan is still having litter box issues but his numbers are looking a lot better. This up and down stuff from .25 back up to .50 and then like a yo,yo has got me confused.

Let us know how Magellan is doing when you have a moment. Wanna make sure he is okay. It looks like you've been fighting him for hours, with drops around 30.
Rub karo or honey on his gums right now as well.
 
I read your post and you have 911 in your title. I'm seeing a 29, 35,....and currently 40. Is that correct?
Have you given him honey or karo?
 
Okay keep rubbing some honey on his gums as that's the quickest absorption. You can also administer some rectally if needed.
Has he shown any hypo symptoms? Not all cats will.
I'm trying to figure out when your last was. You should test every 15 minutes for sure until he starts to really rise. He has been low for quite a while.
 
I'm very worried about Magellan. I also note that this is yesterday's condo, so I assume you needed help fast and didn't have a condo for today. You aren't just updating us on what happened last night, correct? I'm a bit confused.

Will he come if you shake a treat bag or open a can? ANything? As soon as you capture him, put him in a bathroom where he can't hide. Hang in there.
 
Did you get more honey on his gums? And a retest in 15 minutes from last test...should be in about 5 minutes from now.

If he is refusing gravy food, some options are:
Give honey on its own or treats/kibble drenched in it. If he won't eat it, you need to rub it on his gums. If not that, then administer some rectally if he is very low. Bulb syringe.
One way or the other, we need him to come up and stay up.
 
more honey on the gums please. and feed more gravy. Lots of gravy, like tablespoons of it. He could keep this dropping business going for a while.
 
What is the exact name of the gravy food you are giving and % carbs?

Do you have any higher % gravy food you could open for him?
He really means business today.
 
I don't give advice on shooting but I really think it would be wise to consider letting the depot drain a bit and skip. When is shot time? It looks like you passed it a while ago? How much can you move your schedule off track?
 
Can you please type out the exact name, brand and type of gravy food you are giving to magellan? I'd like to check the carb content.

Elise would give you advice on what to do for shooting. In my opinion, you've been fighting him for too long to consider a full dose. If anything, maybe a token. I would skip but I don't give that advice.
 
I guess I'm too late to this party.. SS is out of date...I don't know what's going on, only saw the 911 and thought I'd stop by to see if I could help.
