Blue twice in this 24 hour cycle! That's a first!

A few of you have asked about our cat food making adventure. We are following Dr. Lisa's recipe, with the addition of some brewer's yeast. The recipe is here. It's not hard to do, and with the help of DH we got through our first try in about 2 hours. As we get our procedure down, I think we should be able to get it down to about an hour, from assembling grinder to cleanup. There is a video here from Dr. Lisa's website that shows the procedure.

The transition is proceeding nicely. The 2 day batch I'm serving up now for Weezer and our civie, Doobie, is mixed with one 5.5 oz can of Friskies. The last batch was mixed with 2 cans, so we're getting closer.

Good morning! Sounds like you have been busy busy with your food making. That is awesome! I tried it and Tarragon, who is mr. picky pants, wouldn't touch it.

Very nice start to Weezer's day. Yesterday, I bought some raw food from the specialty pet store near me and mixed it in with Simon's food. He hated it so I'm hoping to try it again but with only a small amount of it mixed in. It sounds like Weezer is progressing nicely with the transition. I hope it works since it makes sense that homemade raw is probably so much better than commercial canned.

Hi guys .. congratulations on the two blues in once cycle! We feed mocha wal marts special kitty turkey and giblets .. for awhile it was discontinued and when they brought it back, with the "new" formula it contained brewers yeast instead of the other yeast it had been using .. go figure .. anyways, have a great weekend!

Such dedicated Beans Weezer has!!! Looks like a lot of effort Weezer, the least you could do is be blue!!!

i wonder if weezer hit her nadir between +3 and +6 . . . i'm gonna believe she hit blues! go girl! seems like you're closing in on the right dose.

good luck on the FUDS! i imagine punkin would eat anything i set down in front of him, but you never know.
