boy i hear ya. 4am and i was awake this morning. even now it's only 5:30 - i must be nuts!

dang, we lost ground by holding that extra cycle on the 9.5u, didn't we?! I'd go ahead and increase again tonight if i were you.

enjoy your bright and early day, peg. maybe there's a nap in your near future. nothing is as sweet as a late morning nap. hmmmmm.

At this point I'm wondering if he will ever get down to good numbers. Just got to remember he's more than his numbers. Just worried he's been so high for so long that something else will give out before We can get this under control. Have looked at Suzanne and Cobb and seen that some cats are a lot higher than Toby is right now. Will try to keep the Faith. Peg and Toby

Toby's starting a little lower tonight at 318. Went up to 10.5 units tonight. Keeping our fingers crossed that this is the dose. nailbite_smile Seems like I'm saying that a lot now. Peg and Toby

When I started on FDMB, there was an advisor, Jojo, who was a vet tech and had been a primary teacher of all things FD to the members here. She was just going off as I was starting, but for a long time afterwards I heard people quote her "Jojo-isms." One of them stuck with me.

"Be the tank. A tank always gets where it's going."

I think that's pretty apt for FD. You've got to just keep going on until you get the response you want.

Hey Julie we will keep pushing. We had company tonight and Toby was right out greeting them like the old days. Sister-in-law
remarked that he was acting like his old self again. I Told DH tonight that I think we are getting closer to the right dose just by the way he is acting. I think when I am tired This all starts getting to me. Will try and keep positive attitude. Peg and Toby

so true - when you're tired it can be just plain overwhelming. these are the things that make us though - you know you can't give up and you just have to suck it up and do what needs to be done. that's how i felt when i had to give insulin shots to punkin. yiyiyi i didn't want to! i get allergy shots and i don't even watch when they do it - in spite of having had them for at least 35 years. i still can't look. but i sucked it up and gave punkin his shots because i loved him and that's what he needed.

we're stronger than we think!

great to hear that he's acting like himself again - that's hugely important!
