Good Monday morning
It's a sunny cool morning after a night of storms, and even a tornado in nearby Dallas.
Last night, I gave Tina a snack at +8.5 to see if it might lower her AMPS a bit. @Marje and Gracie suggested this, and it looks good! I'm thinking I should do it at least a couple more nights to see if it's consistent. It would be so fun to try a decrease. A green AMPS would be another great step after seeing PMPS try green:D

Tina went outside again last night and enjoyed her enclosure - she went out this morning, but it's sopping wet out there, so she came and found her sunny spot inside.

I have a rough day ahead with THE tell all visit to a neuro-psychiatrist with my dad. He went through extensive testing, and this is results day. Dad looked straight into my brother's eyes last night after the Cowboys game, and asked if my brother knew who my brother and his wife were. I have about 4 hours before that doctor's visit. Dog walk time!!

Have a blessed day, even if you have to look hard for those blessings. FDMB is a blessing :bighug:

Good job. It usually takes about three hours for the pancreas to drop the BG; that’s why we shoot for about +9.

Good luck with your dad. I’m really sorry you all have to go through this. Extra hugs.

❤️:bighug: Sending prayers to you and your family, Jan as you help your dad. How well DH and I know ab this time of life of caring for an elderly parent . My momma passed in January at 97 and we can look back with peace and satisfaction for the time /effort spent caring for her . It's a blessing for sure :bighug:

So sorry about your Dad, Jan. I know what you're going through, it's really tough. Lots of hugs to you and him and the rest of your family. :bighug::bighug::bighug:
I hope Tina's snacks at +8 continue to give you lower AMPS's :)

Positive thoughts for your Dad.

So sorry to read about your dad...it's sad to see them this way isn't it? My mom is 89 and has dementia...but she insists that her confusion and memory issues are because her blood sugar is too low. Well, at least with my experience with Luci I could easily make a recommendation for that malady! Purchased a nice new kit for her to test it herself...she's disappointed to see that her BG's are well within normal limits...at least the first few times she's tested it is. It's very difficult for them to accept that their minds may be undergoing unfortunate changes and I think it's very frustrating too. Nothing makes her happy...it makes me sad and depressed...but there's not a lot that can be done to stop or reverse those changes..

I hope Tina has a chance to enjoy her catio soon - when the sun is shining...and in the meantime, sending you some 'greenies'...she'll get there. :D:D:D

Glad to see that you are safe after seeing that terrible tornadoe that touched down in Dallas. I immediately thought of you.

Sorry for the delay, but if you read my condo, you will understand.
You are in my heart and prayers; I am so sorry for this terrible loss, and hope the holidays aren't horribly painful, but that may be asking a lot. Love to all your family Debra.:bighug::bighug::bighug::bighug:
