Ravan is doing good. He's still doing that up & down with his. BG It was a bit too low last night for me. I prefer him to be in the 70's to 100.
Rainy & very windy today. I live in the middle of the block & i swear every leave ends up in my front yard! Something to do with the way the wind swirls everything around in the middle of my driveway.

Oh well, it does end up in a big pile so it's easy to rake up! Gotta look at the bright side!:woot::woot::woot:

There doesn't seem to be any rhyme or reason for BG numbers sometimes. I hope Ravan evens out and stays in your comfort zone. :bighug:
Are you sure your neighbors are not doing some midnight raking of leaves over to your house? :joyful:
Hope Alice, Peggy Sue and your son's kitties are all well. :bighug: Have a great day Joy!

How is Peggy Sue?

Thanks for asking about her :) I stopped writing anything about her because I had to remind myself this forum is about Diabetes & it's probably not appropriate to talk so much about my other cat "problems"

Peggy Sue is doing Good! She's very thin & her mouth doesn't look so good but amazingly enough she is still eating 4 times a day & acting like herself! Still peeing & pooping & coming to my bed for our late night talks & loving.

She went outside the other day ,when it was sunny out. Ran over to the small cherry tree & scratched her nails on it.
She layed in the garden with Ravan most of the day. The only thing I give her is 2 drops of CBD Oil 2 X a day & some supplements. Fish oil & milk thistle. She is NOT "suffering". I've had many cats in my life & have had each one die at home in my arms. I feel it's just not her time yet to leave.

Some people have commented that the kindest thing you can do is "euthanize". I'm doing what "I" feel is the right thing. Letting her LIVE for as long as she wants to be here. I don't think it's my decision to make. It's up to her! :)

I believe all beings fight to stay alive. Even a bug. If one of my "children" had cancer I can't imagine wanting to euthanize him! To me my animal companions are like my kids!

So we take it one day at a time. I'm Happy she's still with me! Still being Peggy Sue! :joyful:

They're so sweet Joy. And what Carla said, it's so true. Lot's of people say that cats are more than their numbers and it's true for us also, we're more than our kittie's numbers and I think it's wonderful that we get to know each other. :bighug:

So true Joy! She's happy right now, when she won't be anymore she'll let you know!
I'm so glad to have news of little Peggy Sue! :bighug: I agree with Carla, she said it so right! So keep posting about the little family! :bighug:

Such good news! I'm glad your kitties are doing well. Sorry about those leaves! Same issue here...I swear the guy next door uses his leaf blower every year to blow his leaves - from his huge trees - into our yard when we're not looking. We don't have any big trees in that direction - only pine trees - yet every year our yard fills up with 'his' leaves! So we're paying a guy this year to come and clean them all up...ours, his...whatever...

Have a great day Joy! Raining and windy here too... :)
