Yesterday was......... Yellow and Pink day in MannieLand. :? A day off for Mannie. UGH, BLECH, MEH. We hope for better numbers today, a return to the blues. I was getting used to them :-D , hope he can make a return trip today :cool: . Right Mannie? We are off to a great start - a nice blue amps. paws crossed he stays here, has a great cycle. Lubs ya big guy! cat_pet_icon

All is well in MannieLand. :-D :-D Such storms we are having - the rainy kind! We somehow manged to get a break yesterday, for about 5/6 hours, even saw some sun. It was as if switch did it's thing and we had blue skies... and that did not go unnoticed by the nanner king, who at the time, was very busy with rearranging the nanners. It was as if a switch did its thing with him too. The ears popped up, the nose was sniffing, and the legs were a-movin'. Out to the deck to soak up a few rays... Still cracks me up to watch him lean his face up and into the sun. :lol: :lol: Of course it goes without saying that the deck was WET at the time and COVERED with pine needles.. so of course he brought them all in stuck to his fur. :roll: What. A. Mess. :razz: :razz: You gotta love it. DD, DSIL, and DGS stopped by for a few in the afternoon, so Mannie was treated to another visit by THE VOICE and SPEED RACER, who was all that and then some. :shock: I cracks me up when Nicholas gets here it's always a mad dash all over the house, looking for Mannie, and hollering as loud as he can: "MANNIE! MANNIE! MANNIE!" several times and then some more. Mannie by then had spit to the basement after the first MANNIE! :lol: :lol: :lol: Mannie you are one lucky dude! This morning we had a great test, feed and shoot and clean plate club , purrs and a few cuddles. :cool: Normalcy in MannieLand. :-D

Have a great day everyone. No clue what will be here today. I suppose I should tend to all the things that never get done while DGS is here, which was yesterday too - for a visit. I did get alot done, but the list keeps growing! I would like to hike, but WOW on the weather: rains AGAIN in most places, and the first snow of the "winter" fell in the moutnians yesterday... hmmmmmm. well we shall see what I end up doing... ;-)

Hey everybody! AWESOME day yesterday - WOO HOO a fantastic fall day in Colorado for Fur Ball's OTJ party! Today we gots to get ready for Muffin's OTJ party! I am so excited - CALIFORNIA! SUNNY California! This will be so fun - I gots the bus all packed and ready to go. Maybe we could hang out here for a bit before we go, like yesterday.... make some moree of that new pizza with a salmon crust! That was kinda good! cool huh... So - kitchen krew - get ready! Grab your hats and ladles and spatulas and aprons and any of your kitty friends that wanna be on the krew. All kitties are welcome. let's roll - we is off to sunny CA. ~~ Chef Mannie

Yo Mannie, Master Chef! Love the menu for Muffin's party tonight. I've got my grill and stuff all packed and will see ya soon. Lots to do! We're both mid blue this morning: we can have an impromptu Blue Mannie Group performance on the bus on the way to the party.

Hi Michelle, I hope that the sun will come out again and that you can go on a hike (much better than cleaning :lol: ). Yes, winter is coming. Our mountains have only had a sprinkling of snow thus far, but it won't be long now!

Morning Helen ~O) ~O) ~O) I think so too on that espresso - I love the orange flavoring, been a while since I had that in a mocha. It actually is quite good. Lookig good son far for Mannie - I so hope he can have a great blue/green surf. :-D :-D

Maybe we will get lucky like we did yesterday. if all else fails I can always hike the trails her by the house. ye on winter - I looked at the passes this AM, the snows continue to fall today. :-D Some of the access roads use to get to hiking places are closed today. wow - guess I won't be going there. :shock: :lol:

Morning Michelle, nice blue AMPS today. Mags also had a colorful day yesterday. What is it with these kitties? Oh my, Mannie, that coffee drink is one of the best ever, especially with the candied orange and chocolate shavings! We have rain here, too, so hope Muffin's part of Cali is sunny. Cute pics of Nicholas, and so funny with the voice and running thru the house, a little bundle of energy. Well shoot on the rain there. We have rain today, too, but it's just for one day and a nice change. Driving treacherous though here in the rain. Have a nice day and hope there's a clearing for a shore walk.

Mannie, I'm all ready for Muffin's party. We have to get Leo all relaxed so he can sleep on the ride today. I've got all my stuff packed and ready to go. Your menu looks outstanding, and I will help with the kitchen krew. See ya at the curb, Mags

What a lovely start to the day!!!! hee-hee...I love the Nicholas "MANNIE, MANNIE, MANNIE"/Mannie bolt story! I was that kid! Every time we'd go visit my aunt and uncle, I wanted to love on their Siamese cats!!!! Didn't matter that they scratched and hissed at me last time...I wanted to LUV on them!!!! :lol:

It's overcast mostly, but you can see the sun in one direction. So hopefully it will come out in time for the gang's arrival.

That as kinda funny. Poor guy. he did come back up, rather cautiously. I know on the loosing the sun time! I feel for him, as he rally likes those sunbeams. Feel for me too! Who wants it to be dark so early in the evening.well now late afternoon! THX: yes I did on the finding something interesting to do: a local, swim meet, which was fun, and now off tot eh shore. So nice to see that Mr. Greenie in Mannie's condo. Please pass on my thanks for the drink today. It was fabulous. I had some nanaimo bars yesterday with orange flavour, very similar and very yummy! And equally zero calories. :lol:

This morning someone told me there was snow on the mountains and I hadn't noticed. When I got home I looked right up the hill, and sure enough, there is is at the top. So sad that some of the roads to your hikes are closed, but it meant you were home to see that lovely green.

Hi Wendy - yupp - I was very happy to see the green guy too! And I LOVE nanaimo bars. so so good! I printed that recipe too. :-D I can imagine how good they would be with an orange flavoring in them. wow - excellent! Our snow here has just started showing, in the mtns... the passes here had heir first snow yesterday, with much more to come over the next few days. Winter is definitely here up there. Yes on the roads... I had hoped to make a few more trips, but that's OK. It was a matter of time, and now we switch to lowlands.. But - you are right! if I had been out I would have missed that green - of that I am certain. :mrgreen:

Mannie, thank you for that awesome Venti quad mocha double expresso coffee drink this morning. Glad you got out for a hike Michelle. I got in a short walk earlier. We've had a nice light rain. When I click on the link for DGS, it says material not available. Maybe it hasn't gotten onto FB yet?
I don't expect Mags home for a long.....time!
