Yesterday 10/20/10

Mad at myself. Planned on getting a +4 last night but fell asleep at around 9:30. He's been purring more readily, peeing and pooping all the time (especially the pooping), and he cleans himself after he's done eating. Looking good this morning AMPS wise, really hoping not to see a bounce back up. Only time will tell. So can't wait for the feeder to come, cause I'm worn out, but so happy he's been doing better, not just numbers wise, but he purrs almost the second I touch him, like he used to. Looking forward to getting my Buddy back.

What a great report for Buddy this morning...are all Ps in place too? P for purring is there for sure!

Slowly but surely, the old Buddy will come back.
Old habits that you have forgotten over time will return and it is at those times when you will be reassured that it's all working.

Give the playing some time to return. It's enough to see the numbers drop down, that he is eating and relieving himself regularly, and most definitely doing the cleanup after both.

Was kinda expecting the high number this evening. Will get another reading perhaps a +4 tonight, no falling asleep!

He's on his way down. I expected about this range for now. I am liking that I can expect certain numbers for certain times/doses. Finally things are making sense.

Hi Tony and Buddy. I just wanted to pop in and say hi. I haven't been around the last few weeks so haven't met you yet. It's good to read that your kitty is beginning to feel more like his regular self. I'm sure our kitties must feel like wet noodles until their sugars are more under control. As Gayle said it takes time. Patience is one thing for sure that this Sugar Dance will teach you. Believe me Tori has been a Diabetic for over 5 years now. You will learn patience and it is so totally worth it when you see your kitty do something that he hasn't done for awhile just because he feels better.
